Terrible trade. Shaq should have retired this year. The fact that Wallace and another of their key players was traded for an old beat up and now mediocre player in Shaq spells nothing less than the same for the Cavs in the future as well. I have to say this will more than likely do James a disservice rather than a boost. I do however think this will probably help Lebron have an excuse for leaving Cleveland in the future., for New York which has been circulating in rumor for the past 2 years now.

Shaq must be heated or at least unsettled about Kobe and Lakers winning it all this year with out him. Ultimately Shaq is trying to cash in on the success of Lebron, like he did with Wayde in Miami and then take credit for it. My take is that it won't work this time around.

agreed, he shoulda just retired he fucked up the suns fast pace offense. he will do the same for the cavaliers. and ben wallace and 1st round draft pick?? crazy shit. suns will be a bigger presence now in the western conference they just added a defensive juggernaut to the squad.

damn, why yaw trying to 'larry holmes" Shaq! True he is nowhere near where he was but, I think he just needs the right environment to come back. Don't write him off just yet...

Just look at what happened to the Suns, a once elite team on the verge of gaining some success and a shot at a title. The Shaq trade to Phoenix destroyed them, Steve Kerr looks like an idiot now. Shaq is not even a shadow of what he used to be. Dude is washed up, done.

Haaaaaa! why you gotta go for the jugular man1

REally, that is some funny shit lol I never like shaq to begin with but, I had to eventually respect his game. To me i'm still in '88 with the Captain! Also, i'll take sedale or Nick over Kobe anytime. I have no reason not to like kobe though, I'm just a post millenium laker hater
