What about UCLA & USC....
I think the Lakers/Celtics rivalry of the 80's would have to be number one on the list....who would top the list in boxing, what about ufc fighting???? Ortiz & lidell???

No, the Gatriots have done something to us that actually inspires a fuck you to your team attitude. The phone chargers have never done anything, they have no Super Bowl rings, gatriots and bucked-in-rears do. The phone chargers smashed the Raiders through one of their lowest winning eras ever. That's nothing to be proud of. they beat a team that everyone and their momma has been beating...so what? The Gatriots and the Bucs got us when it counted, those hurt, that's why I say fuck em. But the phone chargers, they never hurt us, shit their a southern Cali team. I dont root for them, but depending on who they play, i might not root against them. The only reason any animosity has gone in their directions lately is that they all of a sudden got a large band wagon fan squad because they've been winning in a division that's been kind of shitty the last 6-7 years and all of a sudden they're talking shit. If your old school SD fan, thats right, im a real RAIDER fan, I can respect that. But if you like em now all of a sudden...lol gtf outta here, BAND WAGON get no love.

If the phone chargers go through a long losing spell, and all these fans still root for them, then they can be considered fans. But i would bet, when they go into a minor losing spell, all Phone charger fans are going to disappear faster then there last super bowl win.

Chargers need to win a super bowl, or hurt us when it counts to be hated, till then...only a nuisance

ya theres a huuge band wagon for a team that didnt make the playoffs...and ur right it dont mean nothing thats why the raiders winning all them years didnt mean shit either, the chargers were a new team. and not winning a superbowl has nothing to do with the team owning your team...lol get over it, think up some new ideas read some stats. think of something new...lol

The wagon jumping phenomenon can happen to any team, some people only sport certain colors as it is...I mean its not uncommon to cross paths with someone raider'd or laker'd out and not necessarily have the slightest clue about the team and how's their season...in the same token theirs probably more people that know what's going on than don't....for example die hard football fans follow high school & college football, more college than anything....

see those arent fans, they do it for fashion, the term bandwagon is like "front runner" and more or less "fair weather fan" bandwagon is when you jump on to a team that just won a championship or some shit, like a front runner, fair weather fans are the ones that like the team only when they are doing good, but usually stick to the same team. pepole throw around the term bandwagon fan cuz a lack of a better word and they have a weak argument..

lakers spurs is a good all time rivalry, i think the all time win loss record is tied between them.

also the dodgers (1149 wins) v giants (wins 1171)

HA...sure dickers...

You jumped onto a team that's been winning the division the last few years, but thanks, no longer a Raider fan means we go 8-8, this year, next year playoffs, maybe even a super bowl. You on chargers nizuts mean they dont even make the playoffs in a division they were SUPPOSED to dominate. You going to use the fact that they didnt hit the playoffs this year as a reason why you are not a BAND WAGONER, how long have you been a Charger fan? This is your first official year, after they've been owning a division that they have NEVER been able to do anything with.

And I wouldn't even have commented back if there werent some pompous undertone of whats a band-wagon, opposed to fair weather yada yada...just typing it makes me laugh...thanks...its always good to smile Smile

Another thing that draws people to a certain team is talent.....I was NEVER a cowboys fan but I always thought Emitt Smith was the baddest muthafucking RB in his time, NEVER a bulls fan but Jordan a bad if not thee baddest b-baller, that title can go either way between Jordan & Kobe....hell I'm not even a Lakers fan but Kobe is balling.......so inna way talent can sometimes draw fans in....as for me my Eagles never won a Superbowl....Angels, one title.....&Celtics, well they only have one more title than the Lakers....has anyone ever new someone that only roots for champion teams......
