I think the answer is obvious, while our African American brothas have endured much by the way of abuse and brutalization from the American government and the American people, Our people, the native peoples of the Americas, have been victims of genocide, slavery, disenfranchisement and many other fancy words describing how we have become third and fourth class citizens on our lands.

i don't consider brown and red the same

the redman from north america was completely set apart from the mestizo brown

here in the borderlands we think of them as the same, but i really don't see them being the same
per say, the mayas and the iroquois

not the same thing, they were separated by the largest mountain range in the world. its more like saying that the Chinese and Japanese and Koreans aren't the same "race". there are differences in the physical characteristics between the Europeans, there still Europeans, they have different cultures but are the same "race"

even by your own analogy of being the same race
they still developed differently

that's like saying today that mexicans are the same as argentinians
or better yet, that mexicans are the same as chicanos

im not talkiung about cultures tho. before the europeans came and spread there race through the "americas" we were all one "race", one people with many different cultures. Just how now even "mexican americans" or mestizos in america have developed different cultures, so cal chicanos dont act like Chicago or new york chicanos or even some norcal chincos, but if you just want to disregard the native blood that runs thru all of us, than ya the natives by far have been more brutalized.

so your tellin me that the aztec and the mayan are not the same "race" or the mayan and the olmec they had different cultures. They were even separated by something bigger than a border, by time.
