I know yall remember this one...It's been forever since I last seen it. I was planning to buy a copy of it, but looks like they only got it out on VCR...too bad I threw mines away a long time ago

^^^ I agree. Blood in Blood out was really a half assed attempt to make a gangster flick. When American Me came out I, was pretty Impressed with how that movie was made. Scarface and American me, are both on the same type of level, both are really raw.

BLOOD IN, BLOOD OUT WAS A FANTASY GANG MOVIE, FUN TO WATCH BUT NO REAL STREET CRED OR HISTORY...I HATE WHEN THEY DONT USE REAL VARRIOS OR EVEN THE TRUE COLORS I THINK IT TAKES AWAY FROM THE MOVIE N GIVES THESE SUBURBAN KIDS WET DREAMS WITH ALL THE BULLSHIT...I REMEBER WHEN BLOOD IN, BLOOD OUT CAME OUT SO MANY KIDS WHERE CLAIMING VATOS LOCOS...AMERICAN ME WAS GOOD IT STAYD 90% TRUE N TOLD THE STORY WELL...N SCARFACE IS A CLASSIC TOO.

Mi Vida Loca, is alright, but I think BLVD NIGHTS is way better.

I think most of those movies are corny to be honest. American Me was far more legit in terms of certain events and actual varrios/history. Although some incidents in the movie were way off and made up, which resulted in some lost lives. BLVD Nights was cool, and Mi Vida Loca was on the border for me of being corny.

The best flick about varrios? FREEDOM WRITERS, Dangerous Minds, and COLORS hands down!!!!........

I didn't even give freedom writers a chance. the name alone made me stay away.

I figured it was based on Diamond Street or any gang from that area. But yea colors was kinda funny to me

Freedom Writers is the worst hour of film I have ever seen. What a waist of time and money on that bullshit ass Dangerous minds clone. Same old tired corny shit.

Yeah Part 2 to Carlito's Way was pure bullshit. But Part 1 was cool. I think I like that more than Scarface for some reason...Scarface is just boring to me everytime I watch it now LOL...but it still gets my respect. City of God is another badass film...yall seen that one?

LOL!! As soon as Iheard Puff daddy was going to play a role in it I was cool on watching that bullshit. Even though I ended up watching it later on though. Terrible sequel that made no sense at all. Carlitos Way should have been left as it is. A Classic.
