Lately I have been interested in how Vitamin D seems to be pretty important for people to maintain good health. Sounds like your chances of getting a bunch of different cancers and other diseases is far lower if you keep your vitamin D levels high.

Here's some symptoms and diseases of Vitamin D defiency-

Fatigue
General muscle pain and weakness
Muscle cramps
Joint pain
Chronic pain
Weight gain
High blood pressure
Restless sleep
Poor concentration
Headaches
Bladder problems
Constipation or diarrha

If you don't know your Vit D level you better get it checked right away. Doctor needs to a run a test ( 25-hydroxy-vitamin D (25 OH vitamin D).

Most experts seem to agree that anything over 50ng/ml. vit d levels are in the optimal range. Some say its better to be as high as 60 or 70.

Ive met a bunch of people who are below 30 ng/ml and have a kinds of weird symptoms from fatigue or depression and when they higher their vit D level they usually feel better.

If you're overweight or have dark skin, you're far more likely to be Vitiman D deficient. You can't guess your level or just take a few vitamin capsules a day, you have to get your level checked to know how much to take.

Mine is at 46ng/ml which isn't too bad but I'm trying to get it over 50.

Done way more reading on this shit since.

Been reading the writings of researcher and blogger Chris Masterjohn. This dude knows his shit and really changed my view on Vitamin D.

Although Vit D is very important, it still doesn't do most people too much good to keep on dosing on Vit D unless they get in adequate Vitamin A and vitamin K/ Vit K2 and magnesium.  All of these vitamins and minerals work together and if you get too much of one without the others you can create even more problems.

So eat your buffalo liver kids. It's high in Vitamin A and a bunch of other stuff. Turns out Vitamin A from veggies like carrots and stuff isn't even vitamin A! We've been duped. It's beta Carotene and it gets coverted into Vitamin A in the gut but the conversion isn't too efficient.


Fuck it though, the point is, liver is an old school weight lifters food, partly because the high vitamin A in it along with the other nutrients in it help keep high testosterone levels so yeah Ima bout to get swole from this shyt.
