As of a few minutes ago the paper police aren't sure if it was road rage or retaliation...if ya feel me Nyte? Unless you feel it's inevitable they will know the truth...up just letting you know that's why I was vague as hell

Nobody is dropping names here. The PJ's and CG's had a shoot out a couple hours prior to the murder. They know that much, and likely more. The PD is always a full step ahead of most in that regard.

San Bernardino police who responded to a crash at a Cajon Boulevard motel late Wednesday, May 8,discovered the driver had been shot several times in the chest prior to the accident.
Billy Ray Duncan Jr., 33, of Apple Valley, was found inside his car in front of the Lido Motel with multiple gunshot wounds, police said. Paramedics declared him dead at the scene.
Police said Thursday morning that they suspect the shooting was related to either a road rage incident or a shooting that had taken place within the past hour in another neighborhood.
Detectives have not identified any suspects.

Yeah, a media report doesn't mean much. It's not like they're completely oblivious here. Like I said, they've been knowing about what's going on. Name dropping, now that's entirely different, but no one has done that here.

SAN BERNARDINO: Slaying victim may have been involved in earlier shooting

BY RICHARD BROOKS STAFF WRITER May 09, 2013; 08:09 AM

Gunfire and a late-night car chase through San Bernardino apparently led to a 33-year-old Apple Valley man crashing his car and being shot dead shot moments after he climbed out of the vehicle, police say.
Billy Ray Duncan Jr. died at the scene of the 9:48 p.m. shooting Wednesday, May 8, in front of the Lido Motel along the 2100 block of North Cajon Boulevard.

“We can’t say with certainty that he was involved in that earlier shooting. But his car definitely matches the description of the car in that shooting,” said Sgt. Gary Robertson.

Whoever was chasing him didn’t wait around for police to arrive.

“It’s very possible that the car chasing him was involved in the earlier shooting,” Robertson acknowledged.

As for the shooting a few minutes earlier, it happened about 10 blocks away at Western and Olive streets. No one is known to have been hit by that gunfire, Robertson said.

Duncan was driving at least 50 mph – on a blown left front tire – when he lost control of the car, traffic investigators believe. He then hit a curb and slammed into a power pole.

-------------

LOL at playing them playing the dumb role. They don't want this to be seen as gang-related -- helps with public image and saves face for the department. Good old SB's finest....

EDIT: There was yet another shooting in the Projects early morning the next day (yesterday) -- failed retaliation. CG's vs PJ's going at it.

A San Bernardino man suspected of shooting a security guard at an apartment complex Thursday has been arrested.

Miles Wimbley, 26, was arrested at the Ascott Apartments at 1422 E. Ninth St. at 11:55 p.m. and booked into Central Detention Center in San Bernardino.

Police said the guard was at the complex at 1:11 a.m. when an armed man approached, threatened him and pointed a gun at him.

Another man approached the guard from behind. One of the men reached for the guard's gun. During a struggle, one of the men shot the guard in the chest.

The guard, who was wearing a bullet-proof vest, suffered bruising but was not hospitalized.

Same here. I had posted a few vids last night and they weren't here this morning -- I had to post them again. Could be a server issue.

Yeh this is interesting. I read once that sb county is one of two counties in USA that allows law enforcement to fire rounds from a helicopter too

I downloaded all of the COPS episodes from season 1 - 19 a couple of days ago. Season 5 had several episodes that were filmed in San Bernardino during the summer of 1993 (one of the most violent years for the city). One of them showed someone who was murdered in the Waterman Gardens and what looks like a group of PPHG's being cuffed/questioned in the background. Anybody know of a good site (besides youtube) where I could upload them for free?

I've tired uploading them, but they were taken down due to "copy right infringement" within an hour.

Damn, I just found a host site, but there's a 200MB upload limit. The videos are well over 300MB each, and files over that require a monthly payment. I'll see if I can find another site with a higher limit, and if not, I'll find the torrent and link you to it.

EDIT: Yup, I just watched that part of the episode again, and I'm certain the dudes are from PPHG. One of them had "1714" and "Valley" tattooed on them. Another had "East side" and "West coast" on the sides of a blue P cap.
