So do you do free weights like dumbbells?

Or use barbell or both?

Do you use machines? Which ones? Do you alternate your workout between days?

Do you work out different groups on different days? Or do you do a circuit?

Do you use bands or wires of any kind do u alternate between machine bands and free weights on a weekly basis?

What do you do for cardio ?
Do you run box? martial arts? Dance? bike? Swim? etc

If you use a total gym what gym?

What exercises you do on what day how many sets and reps? what do these exercises specifically workout etc


I thought I start this topic so we can share our shit maybe help each other out and give each other ideas!

Do you eat wheat in the morning for sustained energy then eat white carbs pre workout and sfter to give yourself energy do you blend carb with a shake and fruit for energy? Do you eat fish and chicken to get skinny? or meat to bulk up and take advange of fat for energy? you take supplements
vitamins? which ones you eat eggs etc etc

I do a full body weight training workout 3 times a week.


Workout A

Squats
Bench Press
Overhead Press
Inverted Rows
Incline DB Curls
Side Raises or Lateral Raises

Rest for One day

Workout B

Deadlift
Pullups
Dips
Incline DB Rows
DB Tricep extensions
rear delt flys
Leg Curls

Rest the next day.

Back to work out A.

Then rest for two days and then do workout B

XAXBXXA -> XBXAXXB


I use both dumbells and barbells depending on the exercise. No Machines. stick to weights and body weight movements.

As far nutrition, try to get about 1g of protein per pound of your weight. So if you weight 150 lbs then try to get around 150g of protein a day. Doesn't have to be exact but that's a good way to figure it. It doesn't matter that much what time you eat your food, that's a matter of preference. I like to eat a large meal with protein and carbs post workout.

Ill answer as If I was in the gym still Id do dumbells 1 week then machines the next then resiestance bands. I like to do a circuit instead of focusing on a certain mucle group IE id interfrate a leg exercise and back and arm all in 1 day as opposed to just doing arms 1 day and legs the other id mix it.

I walked for cardio and did home videos my ass is to fat to do anything else.

I do not use a home gym cant afford it.

Mon/THurs
Bench Press - 8 reps ,5 sets
Cross-over - 10 reps, 2 sets
Squats - 15 reps,3 sets
Squats - 10 reps, 2 sets
Skull-Crushers - 8 reps, 3 sets
Triceps Extensions - 10 , 2 sets

Calf Raises - 10 reps, 5 sets
Weighted Crunches - 20, 2 sets

Cardio envolves ab workout

Tues/ FRi
Rows - 10 reps , 4 sets
Back Flyes - 15 reps, 2 sets
Shoulder Press - 8 reps, 3 sets
Lateral Raises - 8 reps, 3 sets
Upright Rows - 10 reps, 1 set
Dread lift - 8 reps, 4 sets
Curls - 10 reps, 4 sets
Weighted Crunches - 20, 2 sets

cardio plus ab workout
Sat/ Sun
inner thigh, 8 reps 4 sets
outer thigh, 8 reps 4 sets
butt blaster, 8 reps 4 sets

FOOD


Id usually eat 2 hard boiled eggs in the morning take the yolk out of 1 of them with a knife. Wheat cereal and whey protien shake with banana or fruit

Lunch/dinner chicken or fish with veggies and a shake whey and 1 vitamin at dinner no fruit anything sugar lots of water throut the day

Preworkout a whey shake with rice crispies and fruit the rice crispies and fruit will give me a sugar energy bosst for my workout then same for post but with wheat so i get sustained energy as opposed to quick energy with white carbs and thats it some hard boiled eggs inbetween too.

Thats why your small bullet you skinny but all you got is biceps you need to do a full body work out and stack protien then u be a big ass bullet

I havent worked out in a LONG TIME No

So guys whats a good way to start if youve had a break? in strength training.

Also bullet you should post your workout regime so more people can get familiarized with the names and maybe borrow from each other
