Venture Capitalist Claims US Troops Have Received Orders to Deploy to Syria

Venture capitalist Dan Bubalo claims he was told by a source close to Ft. Hood that US troops have been ordered to deploy to Syria.

Writing for conservative columnist Mychal Massie’s website, Bubalo cites a “close and verifiable source” who told him that a friend at Ft. Hood had received news that he was to be sent to Egypt for the next nine months.

“This particular soldier said that while he was not really thrilled about the assignment to Egypt, it was better than the soldiers that remained at the military base BECAUSE THEY HAD JUST RECEIVED THEIR DEPLOYMENT ORDERS TO GO TO SYRIA,” writes Bubalo.

Noting that the development was “extremely troubling,” Bubalo added that it, “contradicts the posturing and false reassurances and table-pounding of Obama and Kerry.”

Bubalo claims the information was “sourced thoroughly,” but he received flak from some of the respondents in the comments below his article.

“I’m currently deployed and this article made me laugh,” wrote one respondent who claimed to be a Sergeant.

However, another alleged active duty soldier shot back, “It’s truth, a few of my fellow soldiers left last week…others are setting up to go this weekend.”

Dan Bubalo is a former brokerage firm owner and currently a venture capitalist and financial advisor on mergers and acquisitions. He has appeared as a guest on mainstream networks such as CNBC.

The White House has repeatedly insisted that there will be no “boots on the ground” in Syria, although Secretary of State John Kerry said he didn’t want to take the option off the table during testimony at a Senate Foreign Relations Committee last week.

In addition to CIA training of Syrian rebels which is already taking place in Jordan, the Obama administration is considering a new proposal to use the US military to train the opposition militants, despite their close links with terrorist groups like Jabhat al-Nusra.

Didn't wyte mention that he was getting ready for deployment a couple of weeks back? Someone jokingly asked him why he wasn't in Syria yet, during the early stages of this contrived mess, to which he responded "I hope soon", implying that he was awaiting orders.

Not really surprised by this information to be honest. It's to be expected, actually. Obama is lying through his teeth when he states there will be "no boots on the ground".

what is that venture capitalist invested in? does he stand to make a shit loud of money off the market from fear mongering or false reporting? i wouldn't take a mad rich dudes word on much.

Daniel J. Bubalo of Edina, Minn., was sentenced June 8 to 21 months in prison and ordered to pay $85,000 in restitution following his conviction on two counts of bankruptcy fraud.

Plus im not to familiar with warfare but i would think there would be a deployment of troops for any type of "action". i know fort hood is an army base but they do have other support units that would be deployed even thought they may never step foot on the ground.

Whyte did tell us in the chat box that "a lot is going on behind the scenes" regarding Syria.

What it looks like to me, is the military machine is being put into motion. At least to get ready for something. Doesn't mean anything will actually happen, but they're ready. I'm sure the hope is that they can provoke some kind of small attack out there to justify a full blown military attack in retaliation.

Ft Hood? LOL. No unit from Ft Hood would have any business getting any sort of back door or secretive orders for this kind of shit. Ft Hood is a leg mechanized base with a bunch of Pogues and huge Infantry units that take weeks to be moved anywhere.

At this point in Syria no large Army or Marine Corps units will be involved if any forces are committed to ground action. It will be the realm of other units that i wont name or go into detail about.
