From Leg Shots Too Robbery.!1 Madness??

A man wearing a Halloween mask robbed a Fontana convenience store Wednesday night, but he and his getaway driver were later captured in Irwindale.
The robber, who was armed with a handgun, walked into the ampm mini mart at 8127 Mulberry Ave. about 8:30 p.m.

He threatened to shoot the clerk if she didn't empty the cash register. The man ran out of the store after the employee handed him the money, police said.

He fled in a vehicle driven by a second man. A witness wrote down the license plate number of the car.

Police discovered the vehicle was registered in Los Angeles County and broadcast the information to other law enforcement agencies.

Undercover Fontana officers spotted the vehicle on the 10 Freeway and followed it to Irwindale.

Police arrested Andres Jimenez and Jose Segura, both 19, on suspicion of armed robbery. Their cities of residence were not not known.

Officers booked both men into West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga.

Fontana police arrested two Highland residents Sunday on suspicion of breaking into an elementary school to steal copper wires.
Police came to Kordyak Elementary School at 4850 Mango Ave. in Fontana about 6 a.m. after someone triggered a burglary alarm.

School security told police they were watching the campus through surveillance cameras and saw two people near an electrical box.

There was also a U-Haul truck nearby.

The burglars left in the truck before police arrived, but officers captured them on Riverside Avenue just south of Sierra Avenue.

Police discovered they had broken into an electrical box at the school, but left before taking any wires from that site. Police did find a large amount of copper wire in the truck, along with tools used to steal it. They also found a lock that had been cut from the school's electrical box.

Michael Lopez and Ruben Santoscoy, both 41-years-old, were arrested on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools and conspiracy. They were booked at the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga.

They been ripping off all them schools though. Aircondition guy said like 94 units was broken into just in SB school district alone and like 30 something in Fontana.. People are jacking everything.
