Man Found With Several Stab Wounds
Riverside, CA – On Thursday August 20, 2009 at 8:27 p.m. officers from the
Riverside Police Department responded to the 3800 block of Sedgwick Avenue after
receiving reports of several adult males fighting in the area.
Upon the officers’ arrival, a Hispanic adult male was found in the roadway with
several stab wounds to his upper torso. All other involved parties had fled the scene
prior to the officers’ arrival.
Emergency medical personnel responded and transported the victim to Riverside
Community Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The victim’s identity is
not being released at this time.
Homicide Investigators responded and were assisted in their investigation by
personnel from the Forensic Unit. At this time the suspect is unknown and the
investigation is ongoing.
