RIALTO - Police are looking for a pair of men who shot and killed a 28-year-old man in a residential neighborhood late Thursday.

Rialto officers received calls about 10 p.m. from residents in the 700 block of North Randall Avenue, who heard shots fired, said police Capt. Randy De Anda.

"When officers arrived on scene they found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds," he said.

The victim, a Rialto resident, was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:17 p.m., San Bernardino County coroner's officials said.

His name was not released because his relatives haven't been notified.

Residents said they saw two men, including one armed with a handgun, flee the scene in a light-colored sedan.

But police don't have much more information.

"We don't know if it's gang related or a robbery," De Anda said.

The killing is Rialto's third this year. Police say one of the incidents was related to domestic violence and the other was gang related.

Anyone with information on Thursday's homicide may call Detective James Mills, 909-820-2550.
