Two wounded in Fontana shooting

Two Fontana teens suffered gunshot wounds Wednesday night when two people wearing masks approached their vehicle and opened fire.

Police said three people - an 18-year-old man, a 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old woman - were sitting in a vehicle in the 15900 block of Dianthus Street at 8:40 p.m.

Someone in a gray or silver Dodge Charger drove past them and made a U-turn. When the driver pulled alongside them, two people got out and began shooting. Police said the shooters were wearing masks and tactical-style clothing.

The 18-year-old man and younger teen suffered wounds, but police don't suspect their injuries are life threatening. The woman was not struck.
