I picked it up yesterday. Haven't had a chance to get very far yet. But so far its been wayyyyy better than that last GTA 4. I picked up the controls on this easy. Wasn't hard at all to learn most the controls.

I guess you have to unlock all those other areas. I'm barely getting into those middle of nowhere towns right now.

I'm liking the radio conversations and political references. Like they're making fun of our forum discussions here.

LOL....yeah. It's pretty hilarious. Also, LOL at the car dealer dude who claims everybody is a racist. And at "Weazle news", basically a mockery of Fox news and all of the other media outlets.

But yeah, I'm really like the new multiple character protagonist thing. You can switch characters at any time and they all have different personalities and different lifestyles. The first few missions after the intro are a little slow at times, with the go to point A and come back type of missions, but it really picks up after that and just gets better and better.

LOL....the crack head girl missions. I only did two of those to get some extra cash and said fuq it. To get the hook on, you back up to the car, and then lower the crane with the left analog stick.

Are you talking about the mission where they get set up by the Ballaz in that warehouse? LOL....

On a side note, they made it extra hard to evade the police now. It's more realistic, but it's a pain in the ass sometimes. You have to run from them on foot and hide in a dark spot while they look for you.

Yea that's the mission. lol

The police thing looks identical to last GTA.

LOl at ifruit phone. One thing I will say about this game, is it DOES capture life in 2013. Just like Vice City was 80s based and San Andreas was early 90s based. This is a game that can be played 15-20 years later and you can get that 2013 feel. Jokes about the illumaniti , globalism, the political rhetoric, I think I even heard someone mention something about "the state" like an anarchist like myself would, the Ifruit phone, economic uncertainty , there's a lot there.

Rockstar North, the company and developers behind the GTA games, has an incredible knack for capturing the essence of a place or time period with great accuracy. They completely nailed the 1980's Miami Vice era in Vice City, the gang culture and spirit of early 1990's California in San Andreas, the bustling and bleak setting of New York City in GTA 4, and manged again to mimic modern day Los Angeles/CA perfectly in GTA V.

I've spotted several familiar landmarks of Los Angeles and neighboring cities in GTA V. The Slauson swapmeet, the Harbor Freeway, the Santa Monica Pier, the Compton court house, China Town, the Watts towers, San Pedro, etc. As well as several pop culture references from the present.

It's very impressive to say the least. I think this is what separates this series from other games.

I will, once I get the time to. Start up a crew, I think you can do it through that social club thing Rockstar has.

Yeah and last time I had xbox live, those assholes gave me hell when I tried to unsubscribe to their monthly charges. It took forever to get them to finally stop charging my credit card. It wouldn't be so bad if you could just get out of it real easy.

COT FUCKING DAMMIT! I get home today ready to play after not having been able to play for two weeks now (busy with work), and I see that all my progress is gone! I was only about a quarter of the way through, but still, I had a set of cars in my garage and clothing and properties and now all of it's gone. And then my son tells me he accidentally deleted my save file....

Now I don't know whether I should start a new game again, or just wait to see if it gets announced for the PC or PS4 soon, because I might as well just wait and play the superior version of the game on those instead of the PS3.

I've been hearing about the online and seeing videos. Seems like a lot of whiny fucks are complaining about it not working properly right now. I heard it's pretty brazy, though. But I think I'll wait for it to hit PS4 or PC (hopefully next month) to check it out. On the PS3/360, the online only supports 16 players. That seems like too low a number to me for a game with a map of this size. I remember seeing San Andreas on the PC getting a mod that supported 250+ people on the map. Now that's how it should be. That would be total madness. Fools would be getting jacked, shot, flying jets, having fire fights on every corner LOL.

na 16 is enough, they way the game plays and how its set up having more than what it has now would not work, too frustrating and not fun. and i been playing for a wile now, havent been any glitches for me
