2012 debunked

I saw this video a while back and although, I'm not with all the hype shit about this, we definatley can't deny that their calendar is extremely accurate and is superior to our modern day calendar by some split seconds, these people had a vast knowledge of the heavens, to the point that they were able to predict the lunar eclipse cycles for centuries to come, down to a "T". They were far from being a "primitive" civilization like most of these skeptics and so called "debunkers" like to claim. The ancient world was far more advanced than the egotistical researchers would like to admit. Now obviously to get down to the exact date and time of such an event such as "2012" as the Mayans claimed is a little misleading and and probably far fetched, but they undeniably new what they were doing when they were concluding something would happen at certain time periods as they were obsessed with the studies of astrology. The dude speaking in that video strikes me as a liar as he denies the fact about the Mayas ever claiming to be "predicting" or foretelling something as such as "2012", when infact this obsession with astrology was the focal point of their culture and something they took very serious. They believed that the Earth and Universe was being "recreated every 6 millennium" or something like that, so according to their observations they matched this era as the final stage before recreation. I understand this is what they believed but ,don't quote me on this though I might be wrong.

Also just so you know, these new age skeptics are on the philosophy that every single thing that they don't yet understand or believe can be explained through their own understanding, it gets annoying to me. Here's a kick though, these same cats who faithfully believe there new age mainstream theories about the origins of life and such ,boast to know how something as complex as the universe came into being through pure chance and from non living materials, yet these same fools can't even give us a concrete answer as to how some of the ancient wonders in this world were built, such as the great pyramids and many other marvels of the ancient world and how precise they where and how they manged to lift 40,000 ton objects thousands of years ago that not even modern day cranes or technology can equal. See that's the problem with man kind we think we know everything and that leads us to getting big ego's and to denial of certain things we don't yet understand. leading us to want to discount everything that can't be thoroughly explained as myths or fairytale's. That's my biggest problem with close minded people like this.

Yea I really don't know alot of about all this. I was watching vidoes about the 2012 doomsday all night and finally came across a few that tried debunking it...so I thought I should post it up and see what people have to say...I don't co sign any of these youtubes vides since I don't know enough about it...I did think what he said about the bible being right all the time was interesting since I'm not all religious.

This is a good topic though, I'm glad someone posted something about stuff like this since I like to debate about shit like this sometimes. Anyone else have any thoughts?

Well I been kind of interested in it lately. So if anyone has any more opinions or a good video/article to share that would be good.
