A dicer remember when I said i aint never ran into any young OVS's? I ran into some the other day at the liquor store on Palmetto and Mission!! I asked them where they were from they gave it up for OVS's like real G's!! I banged my hood and they respected it!! They was some real Youngsta ckuz atfer we banged on each other they asked me if I could buy them some beers because they werent 21!! Real reconized real so I got them a couple of cold ones!!

You don't get it. The BA setup is based on a military concept. The goal is to protect the integrity and continuity of the leadership structure. The theory is this, you protect the ranks by making your inner-circle impervious to infiltration. So you take precautions to make it as difficult as possible for your opposition to plant spies in your midst or turn insiders into informants. To do this you have to have a committed, well trained and loyal leadership team that can identify solid recruits. Once you identify a solid recruit, you put them through a series of tests which serves as training and indoctrination. Kind of like what you would experience in basic training. Once indoctrinated into the history of your hood, gang or social structure, you then start instilling a feeling of pride in being apart of something special. That way you don't need huge numbers because with each additional person added, the odds of infiltration or defection increases tremendously.

Think on this for a moment, how many defectors have you had from the BA's? Freddy Gonzales and who else? See it works pretty well but you need a strong and capable leader at the top and the Sunkisters have had this for decades in the same person. On top of that, they've held the same territory unchallenged for a very long time so why would they need to add extra people to control what they already have solidly?
