I guess when I think about it, cities like Rialto and Fontana, and even some parts of SB, have had what i would call un offical gangs. What i mean by that is, groups of dudes that hang out together/live near each other .. half or more are from either another city or from another side of town and already claim a hood. Some may not be from an actual hood at all. But they all are with each other in that area and back each other up etc. I know for a fact this is very common with chicanos in Rialto and Fontana, especially sense where I lived it was like that with us and the people in my neighborhood. I guess the difference is some of the black groups took it a step further and made it official and actually put a name to these groups which is probably why we have these mixed type gangs nowadays.
