Again this is more or less in the same realm as the Shaq trade. Vince Carter career has been on a steady down slope for years now. He caused a sensation in his earlier years mainly due to his dunking abilities which is irrelevant anyways, but injuries and underachieving has hindered him. His career kind of reminds me of Grant Hill, early on people predicted he would become one of the next greats, but injuries and once again placement on underachieving teams has done the same for him. He's as mediocre as they come now.

In my opinion Orlando has a good team as they are, they will be taking a gamble if they opt for Carter via one of their key players, like Turkeglou.
