idk, different game today compared to then. Im a magic johnson fan myself, thats my favorite player, but most recent all time greatest, id probably have to go with Jordan, not to say kobe isnt up their with him, id like to see more from kobe, and by more, i want to see a lot more leading his team like this year, and no more crying and complaining.
I think thats why lebron isnt with kobe yet, lebron cant be compared to jordan yet while kobe is working his way there.

Come on Raza, Kobe crying and complaining? I think it's apparent that Kobe new exactly what he was doing when he was doing it. He played his cards extremely well, Kupchik listened and it paid off. Now Lakers are back in business after some years of disappointment. Kobe is a sharp business man if you ask me.
I think Lebron needs to do some serious maturing before he can reach Kobe/Jordan talk. That and some rings.

I agree. Kobe has a few more years and a possibility of catching up to Jordans 6 rings. He's at 4 now.

Eh, I wouldve said trade his ass and bring in Lebron. I dont like cryers, Randy Moss had my respect until he started crying. Once he did that, gtf outta here, hes doing better on another team now, good for him, but he didnt win that super bowl ring when they shouldve. Kobe cried, gtf out, He stopped crying started playing basketball again and all is forgotten. BUt if you cry, fuck you, we dont need your ass then (even if we do), gtf outta here. Thats my opinion.

Re: Who is the #1 player in the league right now? NBA Currently
Lebron in LA, lol that's hard to picture. He would have probably bailed out before congratulating the other team after a loss in a pivotal game during the conference finals like he did in Orlando again. Either that or pull another childish act like when he asked nike to confiscate the tapes that showed him getting dunked on by a high school kid. Like i said that dude needs a serious maturing process to go through.

I guess if I wanted too, I could start talking smack about Kobe because that would be an EASY debate to win, but I like Kobe, just not when he cries. Kobe's done his fair share of innappropriate things, but right now he's taking care of biz for us, and not to be an ass but thats what matters. I like LeBron too, but I dont think hes perfect. I dont even disagree with your last comments, but if he came to LA, that shit would be tight. If we lost Kobe but gained LeBron, we might hurt, but no where near as bad as if we just lost Kobe for nothing.

Re: Who is the #1 player in the league right now? NBA Currently
Talking smack about Lebron...not really. I just posted on a few things he recently did that were definitely out of line and inappropriate for the role model image the NBA/Nike seems to advertise for this 23 year old so called "king" of the league and basketball. I'll be honest, I'm not a big fan of Lebron and never have been. I do enjoy watching him play and he's obviously a great player.
As for Kobe, people who want to pin something on dude usually bring up the rape case, the old "ball hog" and "he cant win one with out shaq" deal is old news now. LOL.

Nowadays Nyte, nobody lives up to that image, it's unfortunate in a way bacause it is what we expect, but at the end of the day, these rich ass mofos are people just like us. Shit LeBron is the king, but not cuz I say so, becuase the NBA marketing team says so. Hes just a good young basketball player to me. My days of idolizing sports stars are over, they ended with Magic. But I cant think of any current players in Major sports that has been able to keep that image, except for maybe Derrick Jeter.

Yeah.
G.O.A.T.
Jordan will forever be a legend! 6 rings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Along with all the the other greats dont get me wrong!!
Lebron - cause the team relys on him for everything. His squad just got real comfortable and just gives up the ball to Lebron.
Kobe - has really demonstrated that he has matured into a great player he has shown that he can be a passer and a team player!!! Yeah its true your past can give you a bad rep but fux it he still "ballin"

Re: Who is the #1 player in the league right now? NBA Currently
I think Kobe has a great chance to reach Jordan's 6 rings before then end of his career. Like some have already mentioned Kobe and Jordan both have areas in their game, where one excelled more than the other. Anyway, I don't really see how people try an act like Lebron is solo on his team, when really the Cavs squad is a talented bunch. They just need to mature and grow as a team and they will flourish. James is doing the same thing that Kobe was doing prior to the "revival" season. That is doing the most he could do with a team that has yet to discover their potential.
James has a long way to go before he can be mentioned in the light of Jordan or Kobe in my opinion.

Him and Mo williams are the only ones carrying that squad look at the stats. With Lebron having 494pts. and Mo Williams 228pts.

I disagree, they would have never won a league high 66 games last season on a so called mediocre team only carried by two players, if that where the case. The Cavs are a good team from what I can see. That may change this year though.
