Hells Angels played it safe
No reports of any trouble
I wonder if they opened the casino for the private party goers or was it just a social gathering?

Despite the reputation of the Hells Angels, two nights of celebrating the 60th year of the motorcycle gang's existence passed without any reported trouble.
On Saturday night, the gang hosted a private party at its clubhouse in San Bernardino, which is at Medical Center Drive and 19th Street.
"We had no problems," said San Bernardino police Sgt. D. Robinson. "We kept track of what was going on, and they cooperated with us. Everything went quite well, actually."
Similar results were enjoyed Friday night in Yucaipa, where about 4,000 people were expected to turn out at Angels Roadhouse Bar and Grill. In addition to the attendees, gawkers took in the scene from nearby streets.
Cindy Beavers, a spokeswoman with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, said no arrests were made.
"Nothing that I have heard of," Beavers said Sunday.
Dozens of law enforcement personnel were monitoring the party Friday night. The bar has been an oft-used location for Hells Angels' parties, and members of the gang had hailed Friday night's gathering as the "biggest, baddest" party yet.
The gang formed on March 17, 1948, in the San Bernardino area. Members were World War II veterans who chose the city to start the first chapter.
I wonder if they opened the casino for the private party goers or was it just a social gathering?

Re: Hells Angels
4000 people at the Roadhouse Bar in Yucaipa...boy was they deep! Although I know they started in SB, oddly enough I barely see any around the E. On the other hand, I always see em Vago's riding around the IE freeways (DEEP!) sporting they green vests. Didn't they originate in the E also?

Angels in the E
Man you got to hit Medical center and 19th and you will see a few posted up at the Club house across from the hospital. They haven't really rolled all that deep in that spot since they got raided a couple years back but that's still central.

Re: Hells Angels
I guess the Berdoo chapter gots their own web-site...I was looking at the history and all the charters they have. From their origins in San Bernardino, to all the Hells Angels groups worldwide...they came a long ass way in rising to fame

Re: Hells Angels
Hells Angels arent as big in the IE from what i see. They were trying to start a riverside chapter from what i was told by a member of them. But yeh Vagos are all over the riv and IE. They're always mobbin deep. They're always deep at angels in corona, surprise i never see violence there, tons of vagos and thats pretty much CVL 4st territory as well.

You can't mistake numbers for quality. The Vago's might be deeper in the E on the bar scene but in terms of influence. No contest. Since the Angels moved into that house on 19th and Medical Center in 77 or 78, there has never been more than a handful in and around the club house "unless there was a function going on," but that didn't mean business wasn't taken care of. I've seen the FBI and ATF run up in there and drag boxes out of that place and cart off slot machines out of the barn but somehow they all ways come back. We'll see if the Vagos show that kind of staying power 30 years from now.
