Man the media is about to make young buck [Keith Jr.,] into some kind of super killa. Truth be told, the Slaughter's never carried no weight on the westside. I went to school with ole boy's uncle Michael and yeah I know his pops. Michael was the type that rarely combed his hair and looked like the only way he would take a bath is if you physically held his dirty a-- down. Now I'm reading all this print about this youngster puttin in much work for a clique his daddy started. Yeah o.k., to each his own but why you gonna wait until you damn near 40 to start bangin some off brand clique? I'm sorry but his old a-- should'da told his son what was up instead of encouraging him. That's how you can spot a fake. A real father want his offspring to live better and achieve things he didn't. This busta was out here encouraging his son to put in work on family? Spill his own blood? Everybody know he was out of line and should have been checked. Sorry no points earned for either of em. To me its unthinkable that a father would do some dumb s--t like that, let alone encourage his seed to. He should've left that one on the sheets. Now they both gotta clickup in the county and take orders from Marshaun. Ain't that a b--ch? Live and learn. Oh boy. By the way, Michael got sent to the pen for shooting some fool over dope. Probably saved his life anyway seeing how he was hooked on that glass d.

Here is alittle something on Maze. The real shotcaller in that hood is former city councilwoman Valerie Pope-Ludlam. She bout as crooked as a question mark bent twice over. She's lived in that same house on Colorado for as long as I can remember. When everbody else was gettin chased and jacked, the police rarely went off into the Maze because she had sh-- sown up. This how it was. There was some real trues up in there but the Slaughters weren't among them. They was living in the Zions at the time. You had the Jones boys "Bud, Steve, Mark, Rodney etc.," all on 18th street which was funny because it was about 18 Jones kids. Steve was pushin alittle product "with sanction from the godmother," until he got into it with this wannabe pimp named Robert Earl "Robear" Luckett. Steve ended up shooting Robear in the eye and going to the pen. Some of the others of note living in the Maze was the Griffin's who was related to the councilwoman somehow. You also had Robert "Black Rob" and Ricky McKinney., who was the half-brothers of my old baseball and football coach Keevie Waller. Keevie's son T.T., was in it for a minute but faded out pretty early on. To show how things have changed, Me, Marshaun Macon, Ricky McKinney, Victor (RIP) from Maze, Casey from Maze, TT and a few others all played on the Cardinal's at CAC. The coach was Keevie Waller. Now you got Marshaun locked up for blastin Edward Griffin from Maze and Robert Jr., locked up for blastin well you get the picture.

With the whole hood falling to pieces you wonder why the former councilwoman hasn't put her foot down to stop all the madness but I guess she to busy counting her money, or fighting all the corruption charges that she has against her. Man the stories one could tell about that broad... Not to paint it as all bad as there were a few who made it out without getting there hands dirty. Like Rodney who owns Luv'd ones barbershop. They on 18th next door to the Jones family but none of them from Ricky "who is an artist," to Regina "who was married to the late David Lang of the NFL Rams, Cowboys and Falcolns," Renita "graduated from Spellman married and a mother," to Rodney ever got into a minutes trouble. For that their mother deserves an award. That's the kind of people the paper needs to do a write-up on.

Yeah I been reading about them in the "papers" for a while now, despite the outrageous nature of it all, they have caused plenty of bloodshed on the Westside and have stirred up one to many hoods, on some foolishness. I've "heard" stories about this youngster, and how he go nuts, but like you said no points earned whatsoever for that shit.

Thats beyond going outta line. Him and his ol pops. I never understood the twisted mentality of some niggas. Teaching they kids a hopeless death style with no way out. Shit is disturbing and sickening to say the least.

Good chance you know me Reno. Very good chance. I'm not emotional at all over anybody associated with Maze. Like I said before I got love for some but others well, it is what it is. You may not like what I wrote but in truth what I said is exactly that. As for family ties, I got em in every hood in San Bernardino west of Mt. Vernon "and a couple east as well", including Maze but some of the things done is inexcusable on both sides. I haven't put much out on Maze because there are cases pending so I choose to remain silent on current affairs. Glad you don't hold grudges, life is to short for that.

I can't remember where I got this one. I think maybe way up California. Not 100% sure. At first I thought it was the Hispanic 18th street gang, but the WS next to it looked odd. Then I found out about Maze and that they were a black gang. Then it made much more sense to me. I wish black gangs would hit up more.

WS next to 18 is just as common as 13 next to a varrio. the LA 18 almost always write WS 18th St because the WS 18st is the biggest side of 18th street. Not saying this hit up is the LA 18st or isn't. Just letting you know its not odd at all for them to write WS.

It only says WS 18St so theirs no way to prove it either way. I know it looks like a standard LA 18 hit up (WS 18 St) but they didn't write a click name next to it so theirs no way of knowing.

Man I know how the Los Angeles 18's hit up the walls all to well, and this particular one that Shadow took does not look to have any resemblance to the ones that I have been familiar with. There is no names, no distinct varrio or clique mentioned and there is no "LA" next to it which is almost always a must being that when these are done by out of towners in IE they feel they need to leave this as an impression in an area they are not from.

Also basing on the fact that shadow took this off California near there hood it would be to much of a coincidence and to me it's almost certain that it was done by someone from there, and not from reference to outsiders.

Im sure you knowing that by saying "LA 18st" your just being generic, since we all know 18's have seemingly countless hoods all over. As far as them writing "LA" next to it, no they don't "have to" cray, but 9 times out of 10 they will when there out of town. As far as me being familiar with this going on in this area I am and very familiar since it's been going on for a couple years now, little kids will come around and hit up all over California near the Heights, and it's always distinct and never fails to give reference to a Los Angeles clique or hood in some way or another. This one is lacking that. Which along with it's location being near Maze hood leads me to believe almost with out a doubt that it's just a Maze hit up as I am familiar with how they hit it up.

A few weeks back I seen a very similar looking "MAZE 18ST" on the wall of the tire shop on Highland and California, the style looked almost identical to the one Shadow took. There seems to be confusion to alot because of this matter involving 18, but 18st the out of town 18st always leaves something else to distinguish its self if when they have struck up a wall around this area. It's also always in the same style and sloppy which leads me to believe it's some kids.

Caught this off california st today. Up towards DH just north of 30th st. More proof that its the LA 18st hitting up this area. Theirs alot of 18st hit ups all over the area. Now unless the 18st maze gang uses a V in front and uses the initials C X P for anything(and maybe by some chance they do, I really don't know), then this has to be the LA 18's. Of course an agrument can be made that the one shadow posted was the 18st Maze and the one I'm posting isn't, but its highly unliking.
