MONTCLAIR POLICE SHOOTOUT
MONTCLAIR - A 19-year-old man was killed in a shootout late Friday with police.
Montclair police officers shot and killed the man, whose identity was not released, at Central Avenue and Bandera Street.
No officers were hit in the exchange.
Police had responded to the area after receiving a report that a vehicle had been shot at while traveling east on Holt Boulevard west of Central Avenue.
When confronted by police officers, the man started shooting at them with a semi-automatic pistol, police said.
Officers returned fire and hit the man, police said.
The man was taken to Montclair Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 1:15 a.m. Saturday, according to a San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner's news release.
Police said that the man had earlier fired at a vehicle. The motorist was not injured and followed the gunman after reporting the incident, according to a police news release.
The San Bernardino County sheriff's Homicide Bureau will conduct an investigation.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death, sheriff's coroner's officials said.
The name of the man is withheld pending next of kin notification.
Police did not indicate how many officers were involved in the shooting.

Re: MONTCLAIR POLICE SHOOTOUT
Well I will say one thing if yall do have that many members its only a fraction of yall thats active from that number cause nobody in that area seems to look at MCR as a big hood with presence or a factor.
