They are both clicks of Varrio Shelltown. Gamma runs the south part of ST's turf (Division to National Ave), 38 runs the north side of the territory (National to Imperial).

38 also has clicks within = Dead End Boys and Ocean View Park

I never heard of Party Boys and I lived in SESD back then. It was all notorious GAMMA BOYS! The only other raza hoods around then was OTNC to the south, 38th to the north, and Logan to the west.
