That's the G life though, it comes with the territory. The way I see it, most First generation G's only see the glory as youngsters, they don't realize all the destruction that comes along with the life...Ask any OG. But when they get a little older and deeper in the game, they understand things better, but by that time, they've bred a new generation and were either too caught up or locked up to do anything to stop it from infecting their young ones, if they even wanted to. All those things you mentioned will happen in any negative circumstance, it's how you stay away from those factors that are important, and when you're playing the game, those factors will surround you...

I feel what you're saying. Although everybody ain't cut from the same cloth, just about every hood got it's fair share of cats like that.....ones that can't be trusted. The truth is that I trust everyone to a certain extent....and would be a fool to trust everyone to the hundred percent....I could pretty much address all dudes from my neighborhood as a homie, but I know who my 'real' homies are. Everybody may be down or whatever....and I respect everybody, but me personally, I just can't fuck with everybody like that. I'm always around the same few close homies I've been around for years.

realistically every hood has its little clicks of homies within itself that are closer than the rest, ive been rollin with my main homies since elementary, well the 2 that havent been lost to the game

yeah i'm with you on that one homeboy i see everything going on and see when i was younger me n my boys were all tight as fuck now i go and i see the homies and theres always a few groups all kind of divided and it seems like theres a few homies that are tighter with some than the rest for whatever reason it may be.. by the time i hit 19-20 i can say all my boys were gone either locked up, doing all day with the xception of a few who were doing minimum 8 yrs i did my time as well but lucky for me i was already busted when the big raids came thru the hood busting all my boys for big shit, or they were R.I.P.. the very few (1-2) that remained after that became lost causes lol.. and when it comes to trust i cant say i trust anyone in the hood now xcept for a few that i can count on one hand, i'm not a very trusting person but these guys i know i can trust guys i've known since we were basically born.. but shit i dont like the way things are anymore it sucks to say times change
