Re: Revolution 2012: It's Time To Rise
I have yet to watch this video, but I'm often wary of proposed revolutionary movements, especially if the basis of the movement is founded upon dubious reasoning. Take for example the recent "Arab Spring". It kicked off in Egypt with it's people allegedly wanting to overthrow it's former government in exchange for a democratic society. One year later, and Egypt is arguably worse off then it was during the Muburak era. Muburak was criminally charged and ousted from the country. A puppet government overseen by the Muslims Brotherhood has been created, and now the future of Egypt is uncertain. A similar occurrence took place in Libya, and Syria appears to be next.
When the cause is justifiable, and most importantly, when the reasons for revolution are based in objective reality and for the betterment of society, then I'm all for it. But again, I think it's prudent to practice caution here. Now to watch the video.

Re: Revolution 2012: It's Time To Rise
I'm in favor of an intellectual revolution more so than an actual overthrow of a government revolution. Throwing out a bunch of criminals to replace them with different criminals to rule over us will be nothing special or good. A true revolution has to happen within people's minds. How they expect society to operate, the values the people hold is what will determine which road we take. It's not all about fighting the power in order to gain power....

Re: Revolution 2012: It's Time To Rise
There are just too many bases to cover for a successful revolution.
One of the first things that would have to be done is to wipe out the puppet master’s propaganda machines and replace them with news and information that would open the eyes of the masses. (Have you seen the movie Serenity?) The oligarchs own and control all the major media outlets; ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, CNN, etc. Basically all we see on TV is controlled to program the masses with complacency, disinformation and distractions. Popular radio and printing organizations as well would have to be dealt with similarly.
Another thing that would need to be done is to rid the country of its monetary system. Get rid of the Treasury, the IRS, and the central banks. For America, this means lose the Federal Reserve. If government would print its own money, it wouldn’t have to pay the interest to the FED. Since the central banks have no national alliance, kick their asses out of the country. Put them all on a boat and deny them access to any lands. For the debt countries owe to them, tell them to fuck off and stick the debt in their ass. They’re the ones that stole the people’s wealth. They don’t deserve to be paid. We don’t give crooks back the money they took. Why should they be any different?
In fact, we should change our economy from a monetary base to a resource base. There are plenty of resources on this planet to go around if distributed equally and wisely. Then this would do away with the poor and homeless. Also, by ridding the world of the banksters and their ways of economics would do away with most of the reasons for war and oppression as well; not to mention those that profit from building war machines. Additionally, education at all levels should be available to anyone that wants it.
Accompanying the banksters on their boat of exile would be all the politicians and corporate chief executives that were bought out and went along with their schemes. The political structure would then have to be overhauled. No pay for politicians because it’s a public service and no politician would be allowed to accept any funds or donations from any special interest groups that have an agenda. Terms for politicians would have to be limited to one term in office. We have enough people willing to take on that responsibility. Let’s give everyone that wants it a chance. The voting process and the governance of the voting would have to be given to random citizens that have no motives to rig the votes in any way.
Hopefully, somewhere amid the abovementioned process, the police will become enlightened to their true purpose; which is to protect and serve the people, not the banksters, chief executives or any other special interest groups.

Re: Revolution 2012: It's Time To Rise
I agree about getting rid of the Fed and the IRS.
But disagree about having the government print its own money or going to a "resource based" system. It would be a total disaster. But yeah, end the fed and the IRS.....

mubarak was not ousted by the spring revolution
mubarak was ousted by those closest to him who never wanted a dynasty to continue..
by those who knew he was close to dying
mubarak was ousted by those who played the music right and manufactured the uprising
i have always said that a revolution without actual bullets flying
without an exorcising of the elite cadre of intellectuals in power.,
there will never ever be an "intellectual" revolution

Re: Revolution 2012: It's Time To Rise
The world will not change until people change their minds about the world and the way it should be. A revolutionary mind is only as good as the pureness of the hearts of those who seek it. If people were wise enough, and willing to stand up and die for their beliefs instead of riding the fence like MOST people do, on their own, they wouldn't support and fund the government, as we speak, but MOST people are afraid of this government so fear (and ignorance) is how they control you. The people aint NEVER been ready for a revolution. EVER, in this country. People want to say they are down to fight back and claim to want equality, but no they dont. If they did, they would be seeking it NOW. People want comfort and thats it. Thats why nothing gets done. People are cool until shit hits their doorstep, and then "all of a sudden" they want to act like they are down for something. People love to TALK, but not enough people are EVER down to ACT (like the black panthers did) against this country's bullshit opressive system. Mentally or physically. So a revolution is out of the question until people first change their minds about the PROPER way of living and what is required for peace and equality for ALL, and not just the priviledged. But the reason why that will never happen is simple. Assuming how there are naturally good people. One must also assume there are naturally bad people. Afterall, EVERYTHING has an opposite. The bad tend to rule under the likes of those who are noble and loyal (and ignorant) to their service, but the good will prevail given an all out war between the two, but things will eventually get ruled and controlled by the bad again, because the good become content while the bad stay active.
And as long as there are white men in this country, nothing will EVER change, unless THEY see fit for it. Thats bottom line. EVERYWHERE white people have gone ON THIS ENTIRE GLOBE, they have ruined it. That's why brothas call them "devils". They seek only to control and profit from the people "under" them. There will NEVER be a revolution. Only temporary, locally concealed outburst, at best.

Re: Revolution 2012: It's Time To Rise
We need to get our moral values, ethics, and manners in order before we can even THINK about a revolution. Most people don't even have enough self-discipline to carry out a simple task without failing, so how can you formulate and proceed to conduct a revolutionary tactic against a heavily organized opponent??

Those elites currently in power will stay in power and will never be forced out unless their was a revolution inside peoples minds...Their has to be a change in people's overall mentality before any real change can happen.......
