I Think We All Grew Up With A Catholic, Baptist, or some Type Of Christian Background To Learn What Sin Was.
I Myself Studied alot In Jail.

Sin Is Something We Can Not Avoid For In The Bible It Says "No Man IS just, Not one" We All Sin No Man Is Perfect!!

The Ultimate Sin Is to Deny Christ Yes We All Know That But Another Great Sin Is To Deny That We Sin At All!!
A Great Sin Is To Not Ask For EveryDay Forgiveness!! Even A Good Christian Man Sins! King David Himself Sinned, Paul Sinned, Peter Sinned
No Man Is perfect! Its How We Try To Modify It! We can Satisfy Our Lord With An Attemp Of Change And Willingness To Surrender To Him And Not Temptaion...

i never really grew up with any certain type of specific religion, but ive have been raised in a christian type of atmosphere. i dont have any schooling on the biblical idea of sin but ive been given the idea of what sin is. that being said. to me, a sin is an act that ive committed that deserves me asking for forgiveness. now i realize my definition might be way off form all of yours, but it is what it is.....to each mans beliefs his own.

that's just it., why simply look at sin under the eyeglass of Christianity or the Bible?

Sin is not just spoken of in the Bible story., Sin is an action, whether in thought or performed, which comes from the heart of a soul
if your soul has a heart that is foul, then sin lives in you, and you act wrongly without the need for a cause
so in a sense, yeah, DxT is on the money
if you act wrong, you know it in your heart
you don't need a Bible nor anyone to tell you that you fucked up
you know it in your heart
so in essence, sin is the bad actions of the soul within
you don’t even need to do wrong in physical terms
if you just think it, that’s it
that’s the foul in your soul
and so your soul is full of sin

you can kill somebody
but it is not necessarily a sin

you can lie to someone(s)
but it is not necessarily a sin

you can be an atheist
but it is not necessarily a sin

But Your Wrong My Little Paisa Friend.. We Do Need The Bible To See What Sin Is... Sin Is Something That Is Disobeying His Commandments.. Yes Most Of It Is Common Sense.. But Through The Bible We Recieve The Word Of God.. God Is Good We Need God To Be Good For as It Say In The old Testament "Not One Man Is Just, No Not Even One" we Need The Lord To Forgive These Sins So Thay We May Pardoned And Accepted In His Holy Kingdom....Gods Word Is Truth, The Bible Is Gods Word, So In Turn The Bible Is Truth.. although i highly respect and believe in the Bible, i do not look at it as "uniquely" necessary for a "man" to know when he's in "sin"
and although mainstream Christianity likes to be well versed in what is sin, and what is righteous and unrighteousness
i however, have a diff understanding of what is sin
sin is doing wrong, period
Bible involved, or otherwise
you do something to screw somebody up, that's sin., that's messing up
it is not necessarily an act written from a to z
like if you hump your homeboy's lady while he's locked up
or if you smoke a toke, or do some beer chuggin'
altho' those may be sins to you (depending on the context you did them - in)
they may not necessarily be sin, altogether
hell man, if i love the homie's lady, and i'm doing her right, and for the right reasons, how can that be a sin?
the circumstances that drove us together mighta been the wrong ones, but that's how the mysterious ways worked
but if i'm right, and she's right, how can that be wrong (sin)?

and GOD needs no Bible to teach your heart
because he can make the roc's speak to you and talk to you, even when u're in a trance
for you don't know GOD, nor the amazing powers he can use on you
but your mind, and your heart feels it
your heart and mind tells you when you're living in sin
for all things are permitted to me
but not all things are beneficial to me
