This video is so deceptive and full of fallacies. It hurts.
I turned it off when it called Paul Ryan an ANTI Government politician with an Ayn Rand Philosophy.

Politicians say a lot of things, depending on who they're giving a speech to or being interviewed by.
I'm sure he might admire Ayn Rand, but I remember a lot of the legislation he put forth throughout the years were anything but anti-government. We're talking about a guy that wanted to expand the military and the entire federal budget. The media liked to portray him as the anti government guy because it helped fit the fake narrative (the bad guy is anti-government). If they said Ron Paul was anti government then I'd completely agree.
I'm not exactly an Ayn Rand fan myself, but they totally misrepresented her philosophy and her book Atlas Shrugged. Pretty shameful smear job.
But the problem I have is the video regurgitates a lot of tired talking points and narratives that every other Left wing doc or article/blogs use.
"Capitalism"= Bad
Republicans=Bad
Mentioning of the Koch Brothers as the grand conspiracy behind everything Right Wing
Democrats are only bad because they don't tax enough.
If you're anti-government then you must be rich and hate the poor or you're a dupe being funded by the Koch Brothers..
Re: Park Ave: Money Power and the American Dream
i didnt really take him being anti government away form that film. i dint even take it as anti capitalism. i took it as there being 450 people in this country that control more wealth than half the country combined. and i took it as saying how the ultra rich manipulate politicians and the poor to stay ultra rich.

I got that message in the video too and agreed with it. But that is why I said it was deceptive. Because they throw in a lot of truth but still try steering people in a certain direction without getting to root causes. But then again, I didn't watch it till the end.

I might be confusing this with the other doc i posted but they both had pretty much the same message. end the fed, limit corporate spending on campaigns and stop the manipulation of the people.
