Military strikes on Syria 'as early as Thursday,' US officials say

The United States could hit Syria with three days of missile strikes, perhaps beginning Thursday, in an attack meant more to send a message to the Syrian regime than to cripple its military, senior U.S. officials told NBC News.
The disclosure added to a growing drumbeat around the world for military action against Syria, believed to have used chemical weapons in recent days against scores of civilians and rebels who have been fighting the government for two years.
In three days of strikes, the Pentagon could assess the effectiveness of the first wave and target what was missed in further rounds, the senior officials said.

Re: Military strikes on Syria 'as early as Thursday,' US officials say
I read that a recent poll showed that only 9% of the American people actually want to be involved in Syria.
These people in Washington are out of control. What regular person in the US knows a lot of about Syria? Fuckin outrageous.

Something I found.
News wrote:False Flag in Syria!
We can expect more false flags in the coming weeks… Possibly on US soil!
NATO ready for invasion that will ultimately lead to WW3!
We are now on the absolute brink of war!
As predicated, there has been a false flag. Total Freedom is convinced, however, that more will be coming soon…

Nobody really cares about Syria.
So if the US attacks them it won't be a big thing really, well from what how many people actually care.

i wonder what the number would be for "people that actually care" if we got involved. i bet about a good %60 of americans could care less...smh.3 Man Forum wrote:I read that a recent poll showed that only 9% of the American people actually want to be involved in Syria.

Re: Military strikes on Syria 'as early as Thursday,' US officials say
I think we're at the point where a majority of people have enough sense to know it isn't a good idea to get involved in Syria, but it isn't to the point where people will care and get angry about it. I think that comes with the moral decline of the country, since the rogue government can get involved in all kinds of BS around the world, bombing and arming different countries and groups while the masses in America let out one collective yawn. I think there will eventually be a price to pay for all this. 9/11 didn't come out of the blue...
Re: Military strikes on Syria 'as early as Thursday,' US officials say
I've been researching a lot about this, I heard Russia told the US not to attack or they might get involved.
Russia and China has Syria back in this one, right now there's warships aiming at Syria ready to blow once Obama gives his word.
I also heard that this war is also written in the bible, which is very weird.

LOL at the amount of horse shit filled, propaganda coming from the mainstream media right now. Also, Jay Carney & Kerry's gross arrogance on the matter a couple days ago serves as a reflection of the mindset of the entire Obama administration and the white house; "we have poof that he did it! don't you dare question us!".......completely disgusting and repulsive.
This alleged chemical attack reeks to high heaven of false flag and appears to be very reminiscent of the Bush era "Weapons of Mass Destruction" charade which turned out to be a complete hoax and was used ultimately as the pretext for war in Iraq.
Unconfirmed sources are reporting that an air strike may come as soon as Thursday or within the next few days. Based on the great lengths Obama and his administration have gone to promote this psuedo "humanitarian" effort, I'd say the chances of an airstrike or some kind of attack within the next few days is imminent.
People should be paying very close attention to how this affects the economical situation here as well. War is the perfect scape-goat excuse should this result in further economical degradation or a complete collapse even.

Yep, exactly. The markets took a hit because of all this shit in Syria, and a lot of the media that is optimistic about the economy started to blame the problems over there for the down turn. The thing is, the economy is so fragile and in such bad shape, that just about anything bad happening can prick the bubble. The economy is going to go down no matter what, but it can be anything that sets it off.

Bomba did an interview with PBS last night and made the bold statement that he "KNOWS" Asad's regime carried out the attack, and that they're not going to get away with it. These strong words, in addition to all of the media attention this is gathering, the propaganda, etc.., leads me to believe that they're not bluffing.
And then there's this:

A reporter with Israel’s most widely read newspaper has been told by defense establishment officials that a US-led attack on Syria will begin on Saturday and end when Barack Obama meets Vladimir Putin on Wednesday.
Despite an apparent softening in rhetoric as British Prime Minister David Cameron faces a parliamentary revolt over military intervention, in addition to reports that the intelligence against Assad’s regime is by no means a “slam dunk,” Israel Hayom reporter Amir Mizroch tweets that the attack will begin on Saturday immediately after UN inspectors have left the country.
Inspectors had initially planned to leave on Sunday after concluding their investigation but their departure a day early has increased speculation that air strikes are imminent.British and American military might is now fully in place and prepared for strikes which experts say will take the form of Tomahawk land-attack cruise missiles fired from warships or submarines.
Mizroch also highlights remarks made by former Mossad director Danny Yatom, who says that the apparent delay on green lighting military strikes is only so Bashar Al-Assad can’t use the UN inspectors as human shields.
Mizroch was also told that Israel sent Assad a message via Russia threatening that if Syria attempts to attack Israel, Damascus will be targeted and Assad’s regime will be toppled.
This threat was made despite attempts by Gulf nations to secure a promise from Israel that it would act with restraint if Syria attempts retaliatory strikes against Israel in response to a western onslaught. Israel replied that it would act with restraint, but only if aggression against it “did not exceed reasonable bounds.”
In a related story, U.S. Ambassador to Israel Daniel Shapiro has promised a “strong and serious response,” to Assad’s alleged chemical atrocity last week, despite American officials admitting to the New York Times that there is no “smoking gun” that directly links President Assad to the attack.
US intelligence officials also told the Associated Press that the intelligence proving Assad’s culpability is “no slam dunk,” a far cry form the Obama administration’s rhetoric, which held that Assad’s responsibility was “undeniable.”

Re: Military strikes on Syria 'as early as Thursday,' US officials say
I'm not optimistic about the future when it comes to what all this will lead to. The blood thirsty psychopath politicians are hell bent on starting WW3 one way or another. If they cant get it through Syria, they will get in some other way down the line whether or not the public supports it. These criminals have really gone rogue and will stop at nothing.
Re: Military strikes on Syria 'as early as Thursday,' US officials say
