John Kerry: 'This Little Thing Called the Internet ... Makes It Much Harder to Govern'
(CNSNews.com) - Speaking to State Department personnel at the U.S. Embassy in Brasilia, Brazil, on Tuesday, Secretary of State John Kerry said that "this little thing called the Internet ... makes it much harder to govern."
He also said that "ever since the end of the Cold War, forces have been unleashed that were tamped down for centuries by dictators."
"I’m a student of history, and I love to go back and read a particularly great book like [Henry] Kissinger’s book about diplomacy where you think about the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries and the balance of power and how difficult it was for countries to advance their interests and years and years of wars," Kerry said to a gathering of State Department employees and their families.

That goat-faced lizard, John Kerry, is just spouting the usual globalist trash talk. The Obama administration is just peeved right now due to the fact that people of today aren't so easily beguiled thanks largely to the internet and lightning fast rate of information exchanges it provides.
Brezinski, the former national security adviser and tri-lateral commission member, recently made a similar statement. He's calling it a "global political awakening", which is impeding their progress. They're getting pissed off because it's getting harder to conceal covert doings these days.

Re: John Kerry: 'This Little Thing Called the Internet ... Makes It Much Harder to Govern'
"It makes it much harder to govern, makes it much harder to organize people, much harder to find the common interest," said Kerry,
LOOOOL...."organize". Control, in other words. As long as we have access to the world wide web, the proliferation of information will continue and people will become more and more aware of what's actually going on. At this point, the web is probably at the top of the list of things they would like to gain control of. I won't be surprised if the internet as we know it today, is gone or limited in a few more years.
I've already read/heard about ISP's wanting to go for specific internet packs in the future as opposed to providing service based on internet speed, something similar to what satellite T.V. providers currently offer. Packages which contain a certain amount of channels/websites one can view depending on what they pay for.
If they can limit the amount of information one can attain online, then they can lessen the chances of being exposed. Relegate me to the "conspiracy" fringe groups, but I think things are getting more than obvious now.

We live in exciting times man. This internet thing has really changed things in so many ways.
It is going to be a race between the tyrants and the freedom minded people within the next 10-15 years on who comes out on top of this information war.
The response to their desire to attack Syria, is something so unusual. They almost always get their war when they want it. Best believe they're going to work tirelessly to end internet freedom one way or another.
