LOL...I always thought that movie was corny in some ways. A part two would be terrible. Alot of all this outta state banging going on now is a result of a movie like this.

I still laugh whenever I see that seen in the movie when some of them ese's shoot up that house, shit they took like 5 minutes of shooting on that one house LOL. Very unreal. And the alley ways during one of the chases, aint no alley that damn filthy, shit they fit just about every piece of garbage they could find on that one alley for that scene, LOL. Too exaggerated.

DAMMIT, Y'all killin' the whole vibe, lol.....

It WAS a corny ass movie, like MOST gang flicks, besides training day and american me, but they (hollywood) only exploit the "assumptions" of what life is like on the streets. They had alot of good things in it, but with today's technology and miind-state, i think they can come up with something ALOT better.

Not to thread rez, but yes, this trainwreck makes me cringe. Trinidad Silva's (Frog) worst role, I hated that dude not the actor himself he sadly died just a couple of months after Colors was released in theatres during the filming of UHF which is hilarious btw. RIP Trinidad Silva.

I am surprised when the multi-ethnic gang made a onscreen appearance it wasn't accompanied by the Little Rascals theme song.

It cracks me up when carrot-top is still dancing fucked up while the long continous volley of bullets silhouette his ass like straight out of a cartoon. Or did he die? Can't recall. LOL!

^ I was wondering the same thing. I know that dude who sings that song "Rico Suave" was in the movie, along with Mario Lopez from the TV show, "Saved By The Bell".

No, lol, I just couldn't remember the character's name, which is "Whitey" aka Courtney Gains (people will recall him from the movie "The 'Burbs" too).

You ever read the book, Children Of The Corn? I thought it was a lot scarier than the movie.

Yes, besides The Shawshank Redemption and Misery, I have yet to see a Stephen King story faithfully adapted to film nor that has left me fully satisfied. Brian De Palma's Carrie and John Carpenter's Christine are definitely good but not necessarily great. SK simply doesn't translate well to film 99.99% of the time.

Plus, SK stories especially his early ones usually provided a message (a running subtext) for readers to cling on to and that is almost always absent in the film adaptations which lent most of them the typical cheesy horror popcorn flick quality.

Maybe you guys should make a movie that fits your generation and your area. You could could cruise around mcdonalds or applebees in skinny jeans, ufc/tapout t shirts, replica tattoos of stars, moons, planets, rice rockets and/or skateboards, play beyonce on the radio, all the while using fake guns to blast that way the crime rate stays low and nobody gets hurt. yay! Colors 2.
