Riverside police are investigating a shooting that occurred Monday evening.
Two men on bicycles fired at a person in the 10300 block of Wells Avenue at 6:14 p.m. Monday, according to the police shift summary log. The victim was hit in the stomach.
One of the suspects jumped into the bed of a pickup and waved a gun at a relative of the victim who followed.
Officers later found the truck but the suspect was not in it. The driver and passenger were not involved in the shooting but were arrested on suspicion of possessing marijuana and ecstasy, the log stated.
