Fontana gang sweep nets 60 arrests

Authorities from 13 agencies arrested more than 60 people, seized drugs and five firearms during a gang sweep in Fontana on Friday.

Fontana police conducted the sweep from 2 p.m. to midnight throughout the city. Officers checked on residents who were on probation and parole, primarily focusing on people considered violent gang members and felons.

Agencies participating in the sweep included Chino, Montclair, Upland, Rialto, Barstow and Ontario police, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department and the California Highway Patrol.

I don't know if they were on any one certain gang, but in the afternoon I drove down Miller and their was a whole bunch of cops all over the home of some well known North Fontana SLC members. Dudes that just got out.

THEY WERE DUDES FROM ALL OVER...HAD SOME HOMIES FROM THE O COUGHT UP IN THE SWEEP.

THERE WAS PIGS FROM ALL OVER CUZ IT WAS A MULTI CITY GANG SWEEP...FROM WHAT I HEARD IT WASENT ONE GANG BUT MANY GANGS LIKE HOMIES FROM OVS N SINNERS,FONTA GANGS,MCR,UPLAND Gs,SOME BARSTOW BANGERS, AND SOME RITO GANGS WHO WERE COUGHT UP IN IT.
