PERRIS....

I was in Perris this past weekend, fuck never seen so many big ass rocks, or should I say boulders ?

I was south east of the Lake, all the way out there in the sticks, I got the impression it was quiet their.

Is Perris pretty active ?

My girlfriend was telling me that back in the day it use to be majority black out there, but like so many other cities Mexicans (Latino's) have moved in and are now the majority in that city ?

I don't know much about that place. Nor do I really care, thats pretty much far out there, small ass country/desert town in the middle of nothing. Not IE as far as I'm concerned. They have that odd gang out there claiming the "Maravilla" and a few offbrand Crip hoods, riding the coat tails of the Raymonds from LA. And yes Perris was prodominatley black from what I have heard, several years ago.

Yeah I know about that Perris MV, but from just what I seen it looked kind of funky to be out there. It's like if your car breaks down, your fucked on those dark dirt roads.

I was out there in SB this past Saturday night, me and my girl went to go get some tacos at Armarillos ? or some shit like that, on Mt Vernon. some activity happening out there. I seen seventh st. is the varrio close by ?

I'm not sure where you where at?. Its a Taco stand right across the street from the Park on 7th street and Mt.vernon. Thats the Westside. You got 7th street, Mount Vernon, Little Counts, Royal Counts etc...all around that area, then PJG a couple blocks up on 9th, The Carverdales going down 7th street West of Mount Vernon. So if you where there across from the park you was in they hood, basically in the midst of a handful of hoods. But definatley within/passing through 7th street.

7th street hood and Mt Vernon start as soon as you make it over the bridge going over the tracks from the Flats.

I remember seeing that taco stand, it has bars all the way around it right ? I went to a taco restaurant north of that one, it's on the south, east corner of Mt Vernon and ..I don't remember the other street name.

Yeah thats the one. I don't remember the name of it right now, but I passed by it a few days ago and seen a few 7th streeters outside of it. Seems kind of out of bounds for a brotha to be going in there so I never picked up nothing from there.

All WSV simply means is "WestSide Verdugo". Meaning Westside San Bernardino. "Verdugo" means "Executioner" in spanish, hence "City of Execution". Whether it be SCO, Royal Counts, Junior Counts, Little Counts, 7th street, Mount Vernon etc...they all claim WSV based on the fact that its the Westside. Some may dispute this but WSV is not one gang. There seperate varrios who all claim WSV and click up as one when times call for it. There's been several inter beefs and killings between the Westside Varrios in the past.

7th and Mount Vernon was jumping off something awful for years and years with "Calle Siete" before the injunctions were brought in. They have/had there hood on lock. As all the Westside hoods/varrios do. The Westside.... where the heart beat, soul and mental of the "E was born and bred. No place like the West

Damn thats crazy. Never knew what "Verdugo" really meant till now. Makes a lot of sense now...I recall a ese from SCO once telling me how he got blasted in the ass for walking through 7th. What about ESV and SSV flats (the other Verdugos)? Do they all associate with eachother and back eachother up when its time? Ay Ryda, whats "Calle Siete" ?

"Calle Siete" means 7th street in spanish. NO association with the other sides. Verdugo is just an old term used by the Chicano gangs in San Bernardino which has been used for decades. WSV varrios and the Flats have been going at it for generations, as well as the Colton varrios and even some problems with Rialto varrios but thats some what more recent in the time line. Lots of blood shed.

That's some good info about the varrios right there, and I didn't know the meaning of Verdugo ?

My girl said when she was a teenager that she and her friends use to cruise on Mt Vernon. She said it was happening, all kinds of people out there. And that her grandma use to own/run a little mexican fast food joint in that area, I forgot where, but she did point it out to me.

Yeah, Mount Vernon is the spot. Back in the day it was some nice rides all up and down the Ave. It was a good place to show off your ride, but also a treacherous place if you where slipping.

Barrio Perres Maravilla (BPM) claim First Street ("Calle Pimera"), from what i'm told. Not sure of their hoods boundaries yet though, but from my visits, you can also catch some hood grafiti around 4th, and around 7th.

I been out for a minute but to add to all that about "Verdugo"..Although it means Executioner it started because of how people would say "Berdu" (short for San Bernardino) the V and the B in spanish are the same sound so they simply added "Berdu - GO" making it Verdugo, giving it a more "bad ass" sounding name I guess you can say

Yeah, there's only, to my knowledge so far, 6 hoods there (PLC,NHPC,PMV,P13, and two other crip hoods). Should be easy to map out. Hopefully.

Perris is out in the middle of nowhere pretty far out from Riverside, I wouldn't bother lol mapping that out. Even Moreno Valley would be pushing it to the limits as far as mapping out anything over there.

But Riverside is in there though for sure. I don't have any real solid boundries for each hood, but if I get them I'll do it.

All that ESR stuff is hard to place. I'm trying to get this Rubidoux situation on deck though.
