Daygo has had some "structured" history of Black Sets.. The Syndo Mob is a classic one.. SYNDO is derived from The SYNDICATE.. some say LPB gave rise to Syndo Mob, some say say that it was Syndo Mob who put Lincoln Park on the map. Either way, they both sport Red and Green, and they're baptized by their enemies as The Leprechauns because of their color "green".. Syndo Mob turned it around and went with it, claiming Leprechauns controlled the "pot of gold" hence The Oz, one of the most lucrative spots in all southeast. Syndo Mob were more towards Imperial and Euclid, while The Hatfieldz were more towards Logan Ave to the south, and LPBloods (50s) more towards the west of them. They all however claim Lincoln Park, they go by either their old affiliation of Piru, or the current one of Bloods.
East Side Piru, a.k.a. Skylines or Skyline Piru (Bloods).. Colors are Black and Red.. they also have one of the largest territories of all Black SD sets.. from Paradise Lomas Road to Imperial Avenue to Spring Valley on the east, to 54th on the west. one of the noisiest sets in all of Dago.
Little Africa Piru (Bloods).. ALL FLAMED UP color ALL-RED.. presumably an offshot of The Emeralds (Emerald Hills).. they're up there between the 94 Fwy, Roswell, Kelton and Euklid. The larger EMERALD HILLS goes from Euclid to federal, to the 94 and down to Market. Emeralds were once known as the Uptown Piru, a,k,a, UpSide Sick, and supposedly started out as the Rollin' 90s.
The Basement is what the area where the 5/9 Brims is called.. 5/9s share their neighborhood with Varrio Shell Town.. what's a trip is the colors they rep.. 5/9 flag is Red & Brown, while Shell Town's bandana is Red & Black.. mutual respect, might i ask?
East Dago Mob was formerly known as "Playboy International".. their colors are Black & White.. their territory went from 30th to 54th, between El Cajon and Home Avenue.
The biggest of the CRips sets gotta be NHC.. The NEIGHBORHOOD Crips.. a.k.a. The Get down Gang and the Mad Drivers.. of course Blue is their color.. they go from Imperial to C Street, Euklid on the east to the 15 Fwy on the west. These foos have made the news a gang of times over the years.. they ain't no joke!
Re: San Diego Gang Map
Good info LW..
But what about West Coast? I thought they were supposed to be the deepest crip set. Some say deepest hood in SD period.
Shelltown and 5/9. They both have two clickas that rep two different sets of colors.
5/9 OV-Red/White
5/9 Basement-Gold/Burgundy
STGBS-Red/Black
ST38-Black/Grey
I think it is like you said in regards to Gamma's Red/Black. Influence from 5/9.

Re: San Diego Gang Map
In regards to the SE/WS map, I don't think VMB's hood stretches that far west. Linda Vista 13 also holds Morena down, or at least they used to in the 90's. And I don't think MV73 holds that much turf. They might be more deserving of just one of those blue tags. SKA13 also didn't hold that much turf. they also might just deserve one of those blue tags. I thought Sherman ran all the way to 15? Am I wrong on that Wolfman?
The South Bay map is almost right on. But I would remove almost all those "tagbangers." The only one I would leave on is 5th Block because they put work in on a few SB gangs, and they actually hold turf. CP Mob is a iffie one. They were a party crewin the late 80's, but they ended up more like a gang by the early 90's. It was like 99% were busters that bullied civilians, and only 1% were true G's.
I know who made those Sureno maps. They were also posted up at SG.com.
The SE black gangs is pretty good but EDMC, Linda Vista Crip,Murda Krew, Parkside Piru, and Casa De Oro Blood turf all aren't that big. And Lincoln Park Blood turf stops at the National City border line (Magnus Way). I don't think Skyline Piru controls Lomita Village either, but they might have heads there.

Re: San Diego Gang Map
Right, SHERMAN does cross over the freeway down to 15 Street.. but that area is mostly businesses, and some skid row type of places.. there is however some nh houses still standing.
In regards the colors for The Brimz sets and VST cliques, that’s all still somewhat of a puzzle to me how 5/9 turf is mostly on the Logan Heights side of the 15 Fwy, and The Brimz also get along fine with LOGAN, yet still have no problems with SHELL TOWN neither. The true Basement (called THE SOUTH) a.k.a. Crestwood Park DAMUS, goes from OV on the north, to Division on the south, between the 15 Fwy, and the 805. That’s The true Basement.
In regards to LPB’s borders, that’s true LPB stops just short of Division.. LPB stops at Magnus Way. In fact, that’s the Hatfieldz turf right there.. from Magnus way, all the way to just north of Logan Avenue, in all those little winding streets between Euklid and 47th.
And most definitely ESP does not control Lomita Village, that’s Lomita/Jamacha, LV70 neighborhood. SKYLINES are more like west of Meadowbrook and south along Skyline Drive. But you know what? There’s a lot of crazy winding little neighborhood streets up there, and there’s a lot of ground up in those hills.. A lot of mixed peoples up there scattered all over. Safe to say that ESP operates from the 4 korners on the west, Imperial on the north bordering Encanto, PH on the south, all the way to the 54/125.. that’s a huge chunk of territory.
The WEST COAST CRIPS gotta be the second, if not the most notorious of all the SD Crips sets.. them and the NHC’s.. I don’t know much about WC's, I know they’re up there straddling the 94 Fwy..But I would still give it to the NHC, just because NHC is surrounded by all kinds.

South Bay gangs
I have a bit of a difference of opinion concerning the SOxBAY mapa.. To start it off, IRIS AV does not extend south past the 905.. That is still SIDRO, at the most you can call it DAIRY MART or No-Man’s land, but it is not VIA neighborhood.. NO WAY JOSE, you won’t even find any IxA placas on the walls anywhere in those grounds. Every now and then the South Side Diablos still write all over that neighborhood, but that’s it.
To my understanding the FCW actually started out down in SIDRO, over by the PARK HAVEN apts and the Parke (Larsen) over by Sycamore.. they schooled and mixed in with folks up around Southwest Junior High, so that’s how FCW ended up around that terreno, but my understanding is that the OG’s started out in SY.
Wow, you’re giving NESTOR that much space? All the way to 13ST? Thee Imperials would dispute that claim.
Re: San Diego Gang Map
The OZ (Ozarks) north of Imperial Avenue, between 49Th and what today street is named Willie James Jones Avenue.
Re: San Diego Gang Map
Get your triple AAA, South Bay San Diego map out.. This is how I see it
NST.. NSTR.. NST19 "NESTOR 19 STREET"
Nestor proper would be from..
N) Palm Avenue
E) The I-5
S) Tocayo Avenue
W) Saturn Blvd (19TH Street)
The Neighborhood is centered down through Hollister Street.
The Varrio however, extends as far West to 14TH Street, way past Saturn (19) Blvd.
Two blocks short of 13St is fine. 15Th is probably the most I would give them.. The rest belongs to IMP13.
But for NST19 to claim 13ST ~> That would be stretching it ~> at the most, I'd put it at Georgia Street.
Not to take away anything from them Nestor Boys, cause we all know down here how crazy they get

Re: San Diego Gang Map
PALM CITY
No disrespect meant, but this place is but a shadow of what it once was.
PC goes from the River Bottom, south of Main Street
N) Conifer Avenue
S) Coronado Avenue
W) The I-5
E) Beyer Blvd.
Although I really hesitate on putting them past 27 Street.
In the old times, the neighborhood stretched west past the I-5, into that area where the Home Depot is now at.
Part of the neighborhood was torn down when they built the I-5, and another chunk of it got torn down when they built the SD Trolley.
You can still catch a glimpse of the old neighborhood when you hit the dirt streets on the north end, west of Hollister, north of Palm.

Re: San Diego Gang Map
VIA.. IxA
VARRIO IRIS AVENUE
Some people claim that the varrio started out in the last decade or so.. but I can tell you this for sure..
I saw tags of that Varrio back in time, between 1979 and 1982.. VIA has given the blues to varrios all around.
Del Sol, Sidro, Nestor, Palm City.. they all know what's up with IxA.. Small But Strong!
Their neighborhood is small.. tucked in between
Coronado Avenue on the North
The I-5 on the west
The 905 on the south
Beyer Blvd on the East.. although there's no homes east past the trolley on 30th.
VIA is centered at Iris Av and 27th, around Southwest Junior High

Re: San Diego Gang Map
DSR.. DS13 "DEL SOL"
DEL SOL gets its name off of Del Sol Blvd..
The street runs all across their neighborhood from one end to the other.
I've read that Del Sol used to be a clique of Otay 13, but I doubt that.
I'm no expert on the matter, and I'm sure someone can come up an educate me on the subject..
BUT
The Del Sol projects (apts) got built in 1971, and it was these Boys who started it.
DS had problem with SY Villa Locos from the start.. VLS started out the same year as Del Sol.
Plus
Del Sol is too far away from either the River Bottom or Otay.
Del Sol is actually right up next to Sidro, their arch-enemies.
Del Sur Blvd actually connects the Park Lido and Del Sol Pjs to the Villa Nueva and Vista Terrace Pjs in Sidro.
And the Del Sol nh of old, as far as I have been told, was strongly Filipino before it became mostly Chicano.
DEL SOL likes to claim IRIS AVENUE, but the most you'll ever see is some hit ups past Beyer Blvd on Del Sol Blvd.
DEL SOL goes from
S) The 905 Fwy.
E) The 805 Frwy.
W) Beyer Blvd, then it cuts northeast thru Coronado/Beyer WAY.. East of el Parke de La Ala (Montgomery Park)
N) Arey Avenue, just north of Montgomery Junior H.S.
The neighborhood core center is at Del Sol and Picador Blvd. A good mile and a half away from Otay.

Re: San Diego Gang Map
SY.. SYR "SAN YSIDRO" a.k.a. SIDRO
Sidro is an old neighborhood.. it has died down considerably lately, but they still make a lot of noise.
Sidro holds down everything south of the 905 Fwy, south to the border.
The neighborhood is on both sides of the I-5.
Both the I-5 and the 805 have been built over much of the Old Barrio.. Yet plenty of it remains.
The core of SYR is centered on Park Avenue, East and West.. they run parallel on each side of the park,
.. between the Trolley Tracks and San Ysidro Blvd.
The Park Haven and Sycamore part of the neighborhood is south of the I-5, by Larsen Field.
The Villa Locos are north of the Trolley Tracks on Beyer Blvd and Del Sur Blvd.,
.. their home base are the Villa Nueva and Vista Terrace Projects on Del Sur Blvd.

DMK.. DMLS.. DMX3.. "DAIRY MART"
E) Dairy mart Road
S/W) Past the I-5.
N/E) Beyer Blvd. (Howard Lane Park)
N/W The 905 Fwy.
The SSD.. DBS.. DX3 "DIABLOS 13" also like to hit up along Dairy Mart and the I-5.
The DIABLOS in particular like the walls around Vista Lane and Dairy Mart.
DMLs extended down to the little ranches along Dairy Mart Road, into the Tijuana River Valley.
Haven't heard much about DMX3 lately.. Last I heard, they were trying to clique up with Sidro.

Re: San Diego Gang Map
If I got my facts right, the Harbor Side Barrio in Chula Vista was from..
N) I Street
S) Main Street
W) Bay Blvd.
E) Broadway, and as far as Fifth Ave in the northeast part, just south of the mall.
The center of the Barrio was Oxford Street,
.. right about where Harbor Side Park was built behind Wal-Mart.
Harbor Side is the birth-ground for "VCV" Varrio Chula Vista
The I-5, the SD Trolley, the shopping centers along Palomar and Broadway,
.. have all sliced up and faded away the old neighborhood.
The barrio is said to have stretched all the way to the bayside,
.. over by where Bayfront Park is located on J Street in present times.
What was once the old Harbor Side Barrio, is now referred to as the
"MID-BROADWAY DISTRICT"

Re: San Diego Gang Map
There is Black sets in the South Bay, but they're not power players like in South East or the East Side..
Down in the South Bay/SOxSIDE, there's not enough numbers for Blacks to play a big role in the streets.
Black Raza live down here, but they keep it on the low.. not f*kking with nobody that much.
No racial trippin' going down in these streets, so far; But the South Bay, belongs to the Brown!

Ey my bad.. You know I don't really know much about Black sets, but you're right West Coasts are deep. I know they operate in a wide area, from the Tracks, to Logan, to 47th, and into Shell Town. Those ninjas give Reds the Blues, que no? I was talking to a medium age cat a couple of days ago, who according to his version, West Coasts operate from as far north as Sherman, southeast to OVP. I think that's some serious exageration, cause OVP is well inside Red territory.
I would not put them past the 15, with Ocean View "BLVD" as their south; and Broadway to the north (inside of Sherman).
One thing that did make sense from this foo, was, the fact that he mentioned that 5/9's at one time stretched out west into LHts 30/32 streets. Which is how I remembered; hence the reason why I had my map crossed.
Anyways
