40 Glocc arrested on gun charge

Rapper Lawrence "40 Glocc" White was arrested yesterday (January 23) evening on a gang-related and gun charge in California.

Lawrence Demetrious White, also known as 40 Glocc, was arrested at 7:19 p.m. Sunday along the 2100 block of Chestnut Street and was booked for investigation of gang involvement and carrying a loaded firearm in a public place, jail records show. His bail is $100,000. Gang officers were patrolling the Village Green Apartments on Chestnut Street about 4:30 p.m. Sunday when they encountered White sitting in his black Range Rover near several persons loitering in a carport area, police said in a written statement. A police statement addressing the incident has also been issued.

"White was in the presence of other documented Colton City Crip gang members less than a block from the Arbor Terrace apartments at Rancho Avenue and Mill Streets," according to the statement. "The gang officers located a loaded 9 mm semi-automatic handgun with a high-capacity magazine in the passenger compartment of White's SUV." Several of the gang members were arrested on suspicion of violating parole. There is a court injunction against several members of the gang barring them from congregating and participating in criminal activity at the Arbor Terrace Apartments, according to the statement. Naw, I'm pretty sure they're talking about those apartments, behind SB Liquor on Chestnut. That's definitely a part of CCC hood.

CCC hood is in Colton city limits. Bits of it spill out into San Bernardino city limits and Rialto. The apartments mentioned in the article, the ones behind SB liquor is CCC hood, always have been.
