Teenage boy is stabbed to death in Fontana; police arrest boy, 14, on homicide charge

A 14-year-old boy was arrested for allegedly stabbing a 15-year-old boy to death in southern Fontana on Jan. 14, according to the Fontana Police Department.
The incident took place outside the Regency Theatre in the 16700 block of Valley Boulevard at 9:45 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found the victim outside the theatre with wounds to his upper body. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he died from the wounds.

The suspect was apprehended a short distance away from the location within a few minutes of the call. The suspect was found with a weapon possibly used in the assault, police said.

He was subsequently booked at Juvenile Hall on a homicide charge.

During the investigation, the crime was found to be gang related, police said.
