Rialto shooting in the abcs

RIALTO - A 17-year-old San Bernardino boy was shot and killed at a party just after midnight on Friday, Rialto police said Saturday.
Police have not released his name.

The shooting occurred at a house in the 500 block of East Shamrock Avenue at around 12:18 a.m. Police went to the scene after receiving multiple reports of gunfire, authorities said.

Officers found the teenager in the front yard with gunshot wounds to his upper body, police said.

Rialto Fire Department paramedics pronounced the boy dead at the scene, the news release said.

Detectives learned that during the party someone confronted the boy from the house and gunshots were heard, police said.

The male suspect fled and has not been found, Sgt. Richard Royce said.

Investigators have not determined if the victim or the assailant had gang ties, Royce said.

RIALTO -- A Victorville gang member arrested in the shooting death of a 17-year-old Rialto boy outside a party Saturday pleaded not guilty to murder on Wednesday.

DeAngelo Levondra Rand, 18, was arraigned Wednesday in Fontana Superior Court after he was charged with murder, participation in a criminal street gang and assault with a firearm, according to court documents.

Rand, also known as "Milky," was arrested early Sunday morning in the 100 block of North Willow Road in Rialto by Rialto police investigators, only about 2 miles from the shooting scene.

The 17-year-old was standing outside a party in the 500 block of Shamrock Street early Saturday, according to the coroner's website, checking a rival gang member for weapons when someone shot the teen. The teen was pronounced dead at the scene.

The boy they killed was from Noe luv.. To early put him on dead homies list? Smh Noe luv has alot of young recruits still innhigh school at that continuation and other Rialto schools here and there

They always are. Like that dude that was killed at Fame Liquor a couple months back. They reported he was from Riverside, but he was really from West Covina NHC. Go ahead and add his name to the RIP list, to the kid from Noe Luv.
