More Cluckhead Robberies in Fontucky.!!

A man robbed a woman at a barbershop in Fontana on Oct. 5, according to the Fontana Police Department.

At about 11 a.m., the 32-year-old victim was working at the shop when the suspect entered the store in the 11600 block of Cherry Avenue.

While the victim was at her work station using her iPad, the suspect walked up to her and tried to grab it out of her hands. After a short struggle, the suspect was able to steal the iPad and took off running from the store.

The suspect, who was described as being between 20 and 28 years old, fled westbound into an apartment complex at 11650 Cherry. The suspect was not found during an area check.

Fontana police arrested a Banning man Sunday after he tried to rob a woman making a deposit at a bank.

The victim, a 35-year-old Rialto woman, was making a deposit around 6:30 p.m. at the Wells Fargo at 16175 Sierra Lakes Parkway.

Police say Daniel Wuence, 21, grabbed the woman from behind and tried to snatch an envelope she had in her hand. The woman screamed for help during a struggle, and Wuence fell when the envelope ripped apart.

Witnesses chased Wuence when he ran to his vehicle. Police obtained vehicle information and stopped the driver about a mile from the bank.

He was booked into West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga on suspicion of robbery.
