Lakers forward-center Ronny Turiaf agreed to a four-year, $17 million offer from the Golden State Warriors, according to two league sources.
Turiaf is a restricted free agent. The Lakers have seven days to match the Warriors' offer.
Turiaf's agent, Mark Bartelstein would neither confirm nor deny the offer from the Warriors.

Ronny Turiaf may be taking his exuberance and energy north after agreeing to a four-year contract with the Warriors.
"We've talked to a bunch of teams," Bartelstein said in a phone interview. "There are a lot of teams that are interested in Ronny. We'll just wait to see what happens."
The Lakers' other restricted free agent, guard Sasha Vujacic, still is negotiating with the team.
When Vujacic's agent, Bill Duffy, was contacted Tuesday, he responded in a text message, saying there was "no progress today."
Vujacic was believed to be looking for a contract starting at about $5 million per season.
At 9:01 p.m. Tuesday, NBA teams were officially able to complete signings and trades after the lifting of a league-wide moratorium that began July 1.
The Lakers currently have a payroll of $75,135,796 with just 10 players signed for the 2008-09 season.
If they sign Vujacic and Turiaf, the Lakers' payroll could exceed $80 million.
James Posey, a forward with the NBA champion Boston Celtics, has been mentioned as a possibility for the Lakers. But several teams are looking at Posey.
The Lakers are over the salary cap, which will be $58.68 million for the 2008-09 season, and the luxury tax is 71.15 million.
For the 2007-08 season, the Lakers will have to pay the dollar-for-dollar luxury tax of $4,719,543 for exceeding the threshold of $67.865 million.

The team that beat the Lakers for the NBA Championship, the Boston Celtics, just got a little weaker.
But the team the Lakers nosed out for the best record in the Western Conference, the New Orleans Hornets, just got a little stronger with Wednesday's signing of unrestricted free agent forward James Posey.
Posey's agent, Mark Bartelstein, in an Associated Press report, says Posey, agreed to a four-year contract worth $25 million.
Posey, 31, was a key role player in the Celtics' championship run, averaging 22 minutes, scoring 6.7 points and grabbing 3.6 rebounds per game.
Here's the rest of the AP report:
New Olreans? Aint this some shit...

Re: Turiaf agrees with Warriors
New Orleans was already a hell of a team, this pushes them to the max I think. We all thought this season was crazy in the Western Conference. Just wait till the new season begins.
Re: Turiaf agrees with Warriors
shit...i'd rather him stay in boston than goto the hornets lol
on another note...artest wants to be traded and LA and some other teams are in the running...
i guess we offered odom to the kings but they kings wont give us artest unless we take thomas

Re: Turiaf agrees with Warriors
If they trade Odom the Lakers can forget about even getting close to the Finals. Some people just dont understand, Odom plays a BIG part in Lakers success. Turiaf wont be traded anymore, the Lakers just opted to extend his and Sashas contracts so they should be safe.
I honestly dont think the Lakers are getting anyone major in the lineup. Kupchak is too smart, and not into taking the whole big risk like the other mamagment on other teams. (Steve Kerr catasptrophe) lol.

Re: Turiaf agrees with Warriors
...i dont know...im still on the trade odom thing...i really aint feelin that dude at all...lol
f we trade odom than we get artest...the only thing we'd be missing with odom was his rebounding ability which i dont think wuld be a very big factor considering were gonna have pau and a hopefully healthy bynum to battle and get rebounds

Re: Turiaf agrees with Warriors
Pau is pretty worthless when it comes to rebounding especially for his size. Pau dissapointed me in the playoffs he lacks agression, and he is indeed a soft player.
