Black and Hispanic support for the Democratic Party- Is it justified?
Make your case on whether this tradition is a good thing or not.
I don't know exactly how many Hispanics vote democrat. I seen some statistics that say about 60% of hispanics vote democrat, but "hispanic" may include all kinds of different ethnicities like (Cubans?)...Not sure. So I'll just assume the percentage is higher among Mexican Americans..Anecdotally, every person in my family that votes goes democrat but occasionally they will go republican or third party..
Somewhere between 92 and 95 % of Black voters vote democrat.

well you know, you cant be lumping all mexican and mexicants all under the same political ideology -i cant speak for other latin-american peoples- but mexicans have always been at odds with themselves, all you have to do is study the long historical hard fought wars and struggles between liberal and conservative forces in mexico for the last two hundred years., so i would deduct from that, that once mexicans land here, the same type of beliefs of how it should all be run, carries on.
But even besides that, to me, a recent arrival is a recent arrival, that person don't really know jack shit about how it all historically has developed here in the U.S. and most immigrants are white u.s.a. bandwagoneers, so they don't know any better than to wave a flag and participate in something and think that they are part of something., hog wash, psss!
Nevertheless, the way i look at it, if it was really to mean something, and if conservatism and liberalism was really to amount to something, political parties wise(?) then for sure i would think that most mexicans would fall under the red elephant party line., but since red bone / red neck republicans run the party line, and since they are anti-latino (per say), well then, mexicans will hide under the democratic party that gives them foodstamps and whatnot!

Well I don't blame Mexicans for not supporting the republicans, but I must say that it bothers me how the democrats feel at ease knowing that they get the Hispanic vote no matter what, and I hate how white liberals/ socialists like to make themselves feel like they care for the brown, and I hate how the American media likes to paint Mexican Americans as being a certain way when they know nothing about them and how they really think or see the world.

you cant blame peoples for nothing, homie., the show is run by a few - for a few
and in regards to immigrant mexicans, well, they think with their mouths and stomachs, and aspirations
so whoever catters most to them, that's where they line up to get something out of nothing
they're a humble people, led astray by greed and a lack of modern day politics education
