Fontana rapper “Blackie Fontana” found shot to death in La Puente 10/21/2017

The day after his big Hi Power/Capone E/Lady Pinks diss track he released and was promoting.

just about a week ago there was this video on youtube from a recent crazy mofo who was throwing down with two females outside of a party and everyone is watching it happen and then the vato knocks one of the rucas down and pulls out a cuete and shoots her, then her sister jumps on the vato and bam he shoots her too then jump in a truck and takes off, this shit happened in mexico, but that's how shit is over here south of the border these days, anything can happen at anytime with anybody anywhere and there aint no police true investigation or nothing, its like the wild wild west over here like gangland for control of the stores you know but all these crazy fools out there are all packing nowdays down here and either you blast first or theyre gonna blast you, its crazy man, on record to be the deadliest year ever over here, i think it all ready surpassed it tough and that shit seems to be spilling more and more to the gringo side because you keep hearing or reading about all the regular crazyness that goes on man i dont even want to hang out late at parties no more, see ya, i rather be an old fellow and enjoy my retirement fukk all that madness man, these days people be getting blow away and i dont know, but it seems like la placa wants to let it happen cause they dont want to put themselves and their careers on the line getting involved like that anymore due to this anti-police environment, i dont know man, im off the news subject topic and went off on a good one here but thats how i be seeing it lately

Whackie acted like super gangsta and thouvht he was untouchable. He claimed he lived that life and this is what happens. On real talk banging in fontana is different than banging in LA and OC. Fontana is not active how ppl try to make it out to be. In fontana u can go anywhere at anytime and not have to worry about where ur at. So whackie carried that mentality and felt like he could go to any hood and be safe. U can be untouchable in fontana but when u go to other counties where gang banging is a way of life and not just a style ur gonna get caught slippn

Well you don’t know what happened.. so to make it about Fontana vs everywhere else is too soon.

I’m familiar with La Puente and gang killings happen all the time there. But this was at a specific house so is this gang banging or something more personal. I don’t want to speculate too much yet. So I’ll hold back.

 But I agree this fool was the type to just go to any hood st any time with no fear. That’s just HIS personality and it costed him. But don’t come in here and make it about cities.

When did that kind of violence become the norm in Mexico? I mean you hear about children being murdered over there. When did that become “acceptable” way of handling beefs and scores? Or has it always been that way?

when you hear others talk good and maybe even some bad about a person, well, you have to take what the positive say's about that person and build on that, because that is the only way in which one can truly understand who the man was and what was he about, and when a person is so well-defined in a neighborhood, then that's him, fontana was him, like kid said, so that's real, gotta give respects to the man for his contribution, ke no?

People I know that knew him personally all knew how he really was. He didn’t give a fuck. Tell anybody to their face exactly what he thought. If you were cool then he was cool with pretty much anybody but get on his bad side and it’s on. 

Unfortunately his lust for fame and attention is what ultimately did him in, I believe.
He got involved with Lady Pinks of HiPower and was supposed to get married, it went all bad.. I’ve heard his side of the story but I won’t speak on it here.

But we all know that it got ugly on social media in the following months. Turned into a beef with hi power.

Social media is a motherfucker. Especially if you’re out for attention and love. He recognized that dissing the biggest label in “Chicano” rap was getting him tons of hype and recognition. He was riding the wave as all these little online anonymous instigators egged him on to do this to HI power and do that.

Now Capone E and Pinks are basically dry snitching on themselves regarding the incident. I don’t know what happened for sure, but I wouldn’t say he was set up per say but more so he was taunted and took the bait... all to prove something to social media fans and it costed him. Not very wise.

You're probably right. I assume, Blackie, was at the wrong place at the wrong time. For example, take a look at Snapper, he made a bunch of diss videos about Mr Capone, yet he is still doing his thing. Capone reached out to the public, and said his respect to Blackie and his family. I assume it was a set up, but you can never be sure. 


Blackie Fontana will still be missed. And it's a real shame that people coming up from the IE have to die. The IE was needs some recognition and so does this forum that has been out for a bunch of years. I never knew Blackie personally, if I would have grown up in his generation I might would have met him. I only liked him because he put Fontana on the map.

Just watch a few videos on liveleak, Mexico, Brazil, Latin america in general. People getting shot 50 times in the head and then hacked into pieces in the middle of the street is a normal form of homicide in those spots.

I saw a video of Blackie Fontana hanging with ES 13 in L.A. on youtube, then a few months later I see this. Crazy..

I’m not implying Capone e did it. No pointing Fingers here, except at Blackie himself.

 a lot of people on social media pointing fingers  Capone e which would be considered snitching.  The problem is Capone e and lady pinks went on their own Instagrams a few days after that incident and dry snitched THEMSELVES. Which only made it worse. 

But no, I don’t think he or lady pinks did it, but it’s obvious what happened. 

His death wasn’t about gang banging IE or SF.  He was clearly looking for trouble that night over a stupid rap game beef and it costed him. Again, that isn’t even Capone E’s fault and it doesn’t make him guilty either.  Just cause you show up looking for a particular person doesn’t mean you’ll run into them...
