Re: Most Active City in the IE
PAPER'D_UP we don't doubt that those MoVal hoods are capable of violence, thats not the point. It don't seem like you understand what we mean by established and traditional hoods. A hood being considered respected and established comes from years,(decades) of being ingrained into one neighborhood.

Second has to be Rialto just look at thier Police Department the worst in the I.E. that would explain why it is in second to me, it is a small city but very active and ghetto.
Third has to be Riverside, due to the amount of gangs in the city, numbers and crime rate.
I WOULD SAY THAT RIVERSIDE IS MORE ACTIVE THAN RIALTO

LOL at this nonsense.
as far as most active cities...
1. San Bernardino
2. Highland
3. Muscoy
4. Rialto
5.Riverside
6. Colton
7. Fontana
8.Ontario
9.Banning
10. San Jacinto
I don't see the point in going top 20 because really the rest of these areas have the same stats...a murder here and a murder there. But People forget that even though Highland/Muscoy IS san Bernardino...they are factually still incorporated cities. Well not muscoy but, you get my point. I can tell you that Riverside County just doesn't bang like San Bernardino County. Not that i'm proud of it...its just true.

dont trip homie i got it...lolk
but ya if you wann split unincorporated areas, you can split rubidoux from riverside....and than it would shoot up probably to number two...
Re: Most Active City in the IE
I hate to get sucked into the whole which city is the most active list arguements, but, Highland number 2? The part of Highland that connects to ES San Bernardino has alot of spill over activity and a few spots, but overall I think Highland is a pretty nice city right?

Shit you got the part all up and down pumalo and date streets...um alot of the complexes off of Golden...then you got that whole area off of lynwood all them apartments...little africa...and i think what you're referring to as the spill over zone is Del Rosa which is still san bernardino...just a community. But take 5th eastward 6th eastward 9th; baseline; pacific; and highland ave...all those streets are active as hell even as you get into highland. They actually average like 12 murders a year...all of which can be attributed to san b and la kats out that way...there are no homegrown highland hoods though. At least none that i'm aware of. But yeh you can also take sterling all the way up past lynwood and any complex you see is going to be active... East Higland is a nice area...you don't have too many untainted streets left in highland though...

THIS IS YOUR OWN LIST WITH YOUR OWN VIEWS BUT HOWS A PLACE LIKE HIGHLAND WHO YOU SAID ONLY HAS A FEW ACTIVE STREETS WITH NO SET HOOD OVER RANK CITYS WITH HOODS AND ACTIVE WHOLE AREAS? JUST FROM SPILL OVER? AND IS ANY OF THIS BASED ON CRIME RATES OR STATS OR THESE AREAS YOU KNOW OF?
ALSO BANNING? SAN JACINTO? YOU MUST HAVE RAN OUTA CITYS TO PUT TO PUT THOSE ONES ON THE LIST...MONTCLAIR N CUCA ARE MORE ACTIVE THEN THOSE LAST TWO...ONTERIOS IN GOOD COMPANY WITH THOSE LAST TWO LOL.

no, no...i said there isn't too many streets left in Highland that haven't been tainted...you gotta understand that Highland is small place. It used to be San Bernardino but they broke away and incorporated as a city. Still many of us, if not all of us consider Highland to still be San Bernardino. But 5th, 6th, baseline, highland, and pacific...these are very active streets from the west side of san bernardino all the way into the complete city of highland. Higland really lies North/South and no too much east/west. So these streets that do run e/w go all the way thru highland into East Highlands. So being that Higland only has like 50,000 residents with each and every one of those streets having drug, hookers, robberies, and murder...perhaps you see what i'm saying? You got all these nieghborhood side streets too and Higland is flooded with more crime per capita than any other city in San Bernardino County other than San Bernardino. You also got Date, Pumalo, Sterling, Del Rosa, Victoria, Lankershim, and Lynwood st...shit have you been off of lynwood? Go over there between Golden and Arden on lynwood and you'll see an area of at least 5,000 people with at least 25% of them being involved in some type of illegal activity. What I was saying about the spill over is this: There are no homegrown gangs that are native to highland but there are gangs here...kind of like Moval but soooo much more serious. I use a bit of statistics but, also I freqent there alot. In a city like highland it is very small in comparison to the larger city's like riverside, onta, fonta, and rialto...but crime wise it is similar. Thats why I put it as #2 in my eyes. Little Africa sees more activity than any other hood i've been thru in these other cities. Shit man, I used to work for a water home delivery service and before that I worked for RENT-A-CENTER which allowed me to see this whole damn place far and wide for 4yrs straight. I rarely ever went to the "nice" parts of town if you know what i mean-when working for Rent-a-center. Spill over is used lightly in use here. When I say spill over I'm only saying that there are alot of San Bernardino kats that live in Highland...alot of west siders. But, there are alot of LA kats too...and these shootings and murder are more from drugs and past beefs...but its all happening in the tiny city of Highland. From residents who LIVE there not just visiting.

Re: Most Active City in the IE
HIGHLAND SEEMS ALOT LIKE MONTCLAIR IN THAT SPILL OVER FROM ONTERIO SUR,POMONA N OTHER OUTSIDERS MAKE THE CITY MORE DANGEROUS THEN THE HOME GROWN VARRIOS COULD HAVE EVER MADE IT BUT I MY SELF WOULDNT SAY ITS AN SUPER ACTIVE CITY (MONTCLAIR THAT IS I KNOW VERY LITTLE ON HIGHLAND)...TO ME ACTIVTY N VARRIOS/HOODS HOLD DOWN AREAS N WARS GO HAND N HAND BUT I GUESS THATS MORE AN OLD SCHOOL WAY OF SEEING THINGS NOW RANDOM KILLINGS N VATOS DOING THERE OWN THING MAKE AN AREA MORE DANGEROUS THEN ANY STRONG HELD DOWN AREA COULD.

People seem to have a misconception regarding what Highland is, even folks who live locally. Highland is not to be confused with East Highland, infact East Highland is it's own city or area if I'm not mistaken and there is obviously a huge difference.
Re: Most Active City in the IE
A few cats seem to twist things around and turn this topic into a crime vs crime type of deal, which is irrelevant to the thread. The thread obviously calls for the listing of active cities in which I assume they meant active as far as gang activity goes.
With that being said gang activity turns this discussion into one that dismisses personal opinion, since by default one with familiarity of IE can easily see how active each city is with gangs. Niners list is something I can agree with except with the latter part...

I think you have a point when you say alot still consider alot of Highland as San Bernardino..I know alot of people who stay near the borderline, and alot of the streets youve named, I always thought of alot of that as ES SB..But not sure on exact bounderies.niners wrote:DICER wrote:niners wrote:1. Re: Most Active City in the IE
The West Side of Highland that connects with SB...got some grimy ass looking streets. I pass through there from time to time...mostly on Ninth going from ES San Bernardino into Highland...once it starts to get dark, EVERYONE is out and about. You can see the pushers obviously doing their thing in front of them apartments.
