Four stabbed, shot in Pomona attack

POMONA -- Four peope were stabbed or shot in a Saturday night attack near Orange Grove Avenue and Erie Street in Pomona, according to initial dispatch reports.

Authorities received several 911 calls reporting shots fired and several people fighting in the area at about 9 p.m., according to reports.

When Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel arrived they found a total of four victims. Initial reports indicate three people had been stabbed and one was shot, but that information was not immediately confirmed by Pomona Police officials.

Three people were flown out to trauma centers including one patient who was listed in critical condition. A fourth was taken by ground abulance to an undisclosed emergency room.

As of 9:30 p.m., no arrests had been made.

A motive for the attack was not released.
