Fontana man is shot to death outside business

A 40-year-old Fontana man was shot to death on the morning of Dec. 11, according to the San Bernardino County Coroner's Division.

Luis Mario Martinez was in his vehicle at his business in the 17000 block of Valley Boulevard at 9:30 a.m. when a suspect fired several shots at him, the coroner said.

Martinez was taken to Kaiser Permanente Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 10:31 a.m.

The suspect remains at large. The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department is investigating the homicide.
