FONTANA - A 16-year-old Fontana girl was shot and killed Saturday night while with a group of friends at a city park.
Witnesses told police the friends had gathered at Northgate Park in the 7800 block of Celeste Avenue when they shot at by male suspects around 11 p.m. The suspects were not acquainted with the group, police said.

The girl died at the scene. Her name has not yet been released.
