Police identify suspect in beating, robbery
SAN BERNARDINO -- San Bernardino police have identified a robbery suspect who beat a man unconscious and left him with a broken leg.
James Bernard Davis Jr., 29, of San Bernardino, also known as Lil Notchie, is suspected in the April 28 attack in the 1600 block of Mount Vernon Avenue, police said.
Police say Davis stole the man's wallet after knocking him unconscious. Davis has family in the city and has other ties to the area, police said.
