SAN BERNARDINO: 18-year-old shot to death at apartment

San Bernardino police are looking for a gunman who fired into a car and killed a man Monday, March 18.
Samai James Lavender, 18, was a passenger in a car that entered the gate of an apartment complex in the 2900 block of North Loma Drive shortly after 4:30 p.m., police said in a news release.
As the car pulled forward, someone fired several times into the car, striking Lavender.
The driver of the car Lavender was in sped away and took him to St. Bernadine Hospital, where Lavender died from the gunshot wounds.
