colton shooting suspect caught

A 23-year-old man suspected of shooting another man over a debt has been captured in Las Vegas, police said Monday.

Las Vegas police detained Rambo Martin, a Colton resident, after he gave officers a false name. Officers contacted Colton police when they discovered his real name.

Police said Martin confronted the victim Oct. 8 at an apartment complex in the 800 block of East Washington Street. When the victim refused to give Martin any money, Martin grabbed a handgun and shot the victim as he walked away.

Colton police picked up Martin in Las Vegas on Monday and booked him in West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga
