Fontana:Car to car shooting in June 9th

A victim was hospitalized in critical condition after being shot during an incident in Fontana on June 9, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
The incident occurred at 10:02 p.m., when deputies received a call of two vehicles exchanging gunfire in the area of Laurel and Hawthorne avenues in eastern Fontana.


Deputies discovered that the victim sustained several gunshot wounds from unknown subjects in a dark colored truck. The victim was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center and was listed in critical condition.
The circumstances for the shooting are unknown at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
