Officer shot in locker room
A police officer was accidentally shot in the left arm with a shotgun late Friday afternoon, a police news release said.
The officer, who was in the men's locker room of the police department preparing for duty, was immediately taken by paramedics to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, where he underwent surgery.
He was recovering, police said. Police would not release any other details about the shooting.
San Bernardino County sheriff's investigators are looking into the shooting.
An internal investigation is also being conducted.
