Rage against the Machine and Sublime are two of my favorite rock bands...I still be banging their shit all the time...When I get tired of the bullshit on the radio, I throw in some of these oldschool CD's. Bulls on Parade, Renegades of Funk, Killing in the name of, etc...Sublime got their hits too, Santeria of course, Summertime, What I Got, Wrong Way, Bad Fish, etc...all good music.

rage is the shit i got their discography. sytem of a down and nirvana are good too. a lot of that older rock/ punk/ alternative music is good. som new shit too sometimes.

I listen to A LOT of rock...mostly old rock though...not too much into the new shit, although there are some good songs out...I'm gonna put up a Rock music thread in the music section just for the hell of it...Nirvana is the shit! I still be banging Kurt Kobain..."Come As You Are" is probably my favorite from them...and after Kurt died and Dave went off to make his own band (The Foo Fighters), he came HARD with Everlong.

I like the classic mainstream kinda of rock I guess you can say...I usually like the more famous classic songs they play on classic rock stations. Nirvana, I really like Pink Floyd alot...and even a little bit of metalica

Yeah I used to listen to Metallica a lot...Enter Sandman, Unforgiven II, Until It Sleeps, The Memory Remains, Nothing Else Matters are a few of the many hits that they rocked out. Classic band right there.

The only rock I listen to regularly is jimi hendrix (both the jimi hendrix experience and the band of gypsys) and nirvana. I have a couple of rage albums and paranoid by black sabbath, none of which I listen to often. I'm not a metallica fan, but the intro to enter sandman is dope. I've heard good things about pink floyd albums. Can anyone recommend a particular pink floyd album? A friend of mine is heavy into black punk rock bands like bad brains and living color. I haven't been able to really get in to the punk rock shit.

Try out The Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd...One of the most famous albums ...its not for everybody but its a classic album. the song Time is one of my fav songs...I also like the song Wish you were here and shit like that.

i listen to rock also...alot of the hardcore punk shit...

bad brains...circle jerks..MDC...black flag...

i also like alot of the speed metal and thrash shit...slayer..anthrax...old metallica before the fuckin black album...

slayer is probably one of my favorite bands...there like a darker faster and more agressive metallica...

But I can't really get into that Punk shit for some reason. Just never was feeling it...I have cousins deep into that and I just can't get into it..

That thrasher shit is the crazy screaming at the top of their lungs type of music rite? LOL I've never really gave any kind of rock a chance just not my kind of thing.

Growing up I only liked rap but as I get older I opened up to other music and realized theirs a whole world of good music out there whether it be oldies or rock..Still can't get into punk or even that hardcore death metal shit too much though. Either way I some how end up going back to Krayzie Bone in the end LOL

Yeah a couple of my homies are some knucklehead punks...they be bumping some crazy type of shit...nothing but SCREAMING at the top of the lungs, throughout the whole damn song...that's the type of rock I can't listen to...never really got into the death metal thing...it was too much for my ears to handle.
